God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this thirsty Thursday April 22, 2010. I am sad to say to day is the last message from the Spanduvilous Dailies. I appreciate everyone’s support, but now I have to get to working on some other things for the Lord. Hopefully I will be back soon. I would like to apologize for the lack of consistency, but I am only one man. I do not have a team of people working for me. In closing, I would like to thank everyone for his or her time and patience. I hope the little bit I shared with you all made a difference in your lives as it did mine. Rain Down Righteousness

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II, on this hump day Wednesday April 21, 2010. When the think of God raining down on us, we normally think of the Him raining down the blessings which in our minds equates to something physical or material to get us through whatever situation or circumstances that we currently are facing. But I am here to tell you something greater than the material rains down. Not only does it rain down on us it also grows around us. And to up the ante He will open up the earth and make sure it takes root and bares fruit around us. This anointed, God grown, thing is called righteousness. I know you understand what righteousness is, but you may be wondering how is it better than a physical blessing? If Righteousness is a state of being, how can that over shadow the blessing, right? Well step back from the situation for a moment and receive this. Righteousness is a state of being. It is a just, virtuous and morally upright. In essence it is a presence. His presence. Meaning He is raining His presence down on you, letting it take root, then splitting open the earth to grow salvation and more righteousness/ His presence all around you. Thus your situation has no choice but to change due to the fact that He is present. Furthermore, with the new growth of salvation and righteousness they will bare new fruits in your life and more importantly can pollinate others around you. So stead fast through the drought and be ready for your season of the raining down of His righteousness. Please read Isaiah 45:8 NIV

You Heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let the salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the Lord, have created it.

Proper Rest

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this Tuesday April 20, 2010. More than ever now we are too busy doing so much that we forget the simpler things in life and ignoring some of our necessities. We are constantly being pulled in seven different directions all at once. If it’s not the kids it’s the dog. If its not the dog is the husband or wife. I mean we even put so much into our careers and worked so hard that we forget to even eat that day. Then there are some that are so enthralled in what God has told them to do, they are so drained they’re about ready to pass out. Why are we treating ourselves like this? What are we doing? Rather what are we not doing? One of the most important things that we need to do, that we think is insignificant, is properly rest. You can be doing all of this hard work and pushing your feeble body to its limits and in the end not be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor due to the fact you didn’t let your body heal properly. Oh and I hear some of saying now” I’ll rest when I die”, well that may be sooner than later if you don’t give your body its restoration time. God has set this into the process of nature. We are defying nature’s natural order an hurting ourselves in the process. We can hit the grind hard, but at some point without the rest we need the grind will hit us just as hard. Of what help can you truly be to an organization or God’s purpose for you if you are only operating at about 75-80% all of the time? Why not get the proper rest at the proper intervals and work on the constant bases of 100%. Your rest is as just important as your work, remember that. So go ahead and schedule the proper resting time in your planner and then return to work revitalized and refreshed. Please read Mark 6:30-31 KJV

Relationship in the Blood

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this Monday April 19, 2010. In life we are taught many things some good and some bad that is camouflaged as good. Many people were taught certain things by tradition and some of those teachings have become outdated, wrong, and vain. Often times when we are earnestly seeking a relationship with Jesus, we must unlearn what we were taught growing up. A person can memorize a thousand and one scriptures and still not have the relationship with Him. It’s just like when you move to a new area of town or a new city and you start searching for a new church. There are some churches you just can’t go to. You find that a lot of pastor were never called to be preachers, they are only doing it for their own personal selfish reasons, for money, or for title and class. These type of individuals may be over a church, but do not have a relationship with God and it is clearly evident in the congregation. I mean there is a big gap in the nourishment from what you are used to being fed. A pastor or person that is only teaching from the word is only teaching you from the surface. There is so much more that can be found in the bible through blood of the relationship. Only there can you find Jesus’ character and personality. There is where true understanding of His word is revealed. There is were discernment and conviction can come upon you because He is constantly in your presence and you can feel His where abouts while seeing His will clearly unfold. But you think you can stick with just what you were taught through tradition or hearsay you are sadly mistaken. So don’t be comfortable or content with your current state in Christ. Be hungry enough to want to grow. The precious relationship is found in the blood of Jesus and it is without a blemish. It is perfect. So lets move forward in the body to get to know Him a little better and watch how you life will change. Please read I Peter 1:18-19 KJV

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday April 13, 2010. Are you or your mate the type of person that nothing is ever enough? Is it always more, more, more? I mean you give them what they want or need and it still isn’t sufficient to their taste or liking. There are a lot of takers in this world who don’t know when to stop taking and are never satisfied. So if there’s an individual/individuals in your life like this please pump the brakes, throw in the towel, and raise the white flag. It’s time to stop being treated in this manner. Stop being their footstool or doormat. It’s time to stop being taken advantage of just because people know that you are a giving person. Hear is one thing you need to understand givers, no matter how much you give you will never be able give enough to the ungrateful person/ people. Those takers will take as long as you are giving. Quit playing the fool. Secondly quit making excuses for them why thy just keep sucking you dry. You know saying things like “They would do it for me, They’re going to pay me back, or They love me.” PU-LEEZ!!! Hate to burst your bubble, but if they would do it for you they would be doing it right now for you. If they were going to pay you back they would have already paid you back the last time. If they loved you they wouldn’t even treat you in this manner, because love doesn’t have a take attribute. Love has a GIVE attribute. SO let go of all the excuses they’ve made and the ones you’ve made. Cut off or out those takers and save those resources for yourself. Since you are a giver, I know it’s hard for you to receive sometimes, but give to yourself occasionally. If anyone deserves it it’s you. Just give enough to satisfy the soul. Who Am I

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Monday April 12, 2010. Today’s encouraging word is plain and simple. When God calls us to do His will or if our purpose and destiny are revealed to us we always ask the question, “But Lord who am I to do this?” There are two things we need to notice in this situation. First, Even though this may not seem that important it is, we should understand and realize that the fact we had to ask this question we know its from God. Because if it were from the enemy it would seem like we can do it on our own without God’s help. And we know that God wouldn’t give us our destiny or purpose that we can do without His might, His Grace, and His mercy. The Second thing we need to notice is when God reveals His plan for our lives is that He chose us. WE should be honored that He trusts us that much to carry His work out. We must trust in His Trust and not falter or waiver in His decision. The grander the purpose the more trust He has in us to complete it. Because His bigger plans are the more intricate, more stressful, more joyous, and more important to the body of Christ. In addition we need to understand along with His trust this is whom he called us to be. SO this huge destiny that HE laid in our lap is what will define our lives here on earth. So lets forge ahead trusting the Greatness that God has put over our lives and begin to bring forth the change He so desires. Please read Exodus 3:11

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this TJIF Thank Jesus Its Friday April 9, 2010. Don’t give authority or responsibility to someone who doesn’t want it, because in the end you will only be disappointed. Even though they are capable don’t entrust them with such tasks. Due to the lack of passion for that role the outcome will be lack luster and not thorough. And vise versa, Don’t let any one give you authority or responsibility that you are not ready for or have no desire to do. Example, So quit trying to force your husbands to do that project you KNOW he doesn’t want to do. Quit trying to get wife to go along with your plan that you KNOW she doesn’t believe in. When a person has these types of reserves, big or small, we need to back off and put God in charge of that responsibility. Guess what, If He’s in charge what will happen, is what needs to happen. God may soften your husbands heart to do the project that you so desire or He may bring revelation of your idea unto your wife that will ignite her enthusiasm that she didn’t even realize she had. SO lets stop forcing individuals into a corner to do our bidding, but bring God to the forefront and let Him put everything in order. Please read Judges 8:22-23 (KJV)

Blind Faith

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell on this Thursday April 8, 2010. Have you ever felt that you were blind to God’s will and plan for your life? To you, you can’t tell if you are on the road of destiny or destruction, but you just stand there on that road begging to those who pass by to answers what this life holds for you. The longer we are in this state the more discouraged, frustrated, self-destructing, and even suicidal we become. Then in our despair, a glimmer of hope passes by. You ask your friends and family what was that that just passed by, but all they tell you is something negative and discouraging; the exact opposite of what you felt. They tell you what the people of the world’s standard of comprehension of what is possible in life and then tries to force-feed it to you, because you trust their advice. Don’t get caught in the quicksand of circumstance that all of your friends are in and have been since you’ve known them. Don’t let THEIR limit of faith dictate your outcome. Hold fast to your faith. Let the faith in that glimmer of God that passed you give you a newly restored radical faith that will force Jesus to notice your plight. Know what you want from Him and remind Him of His promise to you, because if you didn’t do this while on the road toward those promises, that’s why your sight became hazy then blinding. But due to your faith you will be able to see immediately his will in all of its perfection. After this, those same individuals with the limited views of faith will stand in aw of what Jesus has done in your life and will hopefully be moved to grow further in Him and not becoming jealous of you alls relationship. Obtaining Balance

Hello again! I’m Sonya Waddell and I bring you greetings. I think achieving balance in our lives is key in this time and era. Balance is the key to life. Picture a weight scale for me with both sides on the scale evenly proportioned. In order to have balance we must set our priorities in order. What is priority in your life? Is God a priority? Before you leave your home for work do you have intimate fellowship with God? Have you thanked him, prayed, and worshipped him. Are you studying the Bible which is a road map for our lives. Or are you to busy? I personally don’t even feel right if I leave the house and haven’t spent quality time with him. Spending time with God before your day begins sets the tone for your day. So now that we have talked about our spiritual priority let’s move on.

I want you to ask yourself some questions because as women we sometimes say “yes” to often and to soon. We are nurturers by nature and we want to help everybody. My motto is, “If helping you hurts me then I can’t help you.” And I don’t feel guilty about it either. So do you find yourself regretful a lot because you said you would do this or that for someone? If so, check your priorities. The 2nd priority should be you, yes you. Are you rested? The bible says, “Come unto me those that are weary and heavy ladened and I will give you rest.” Sometimes you made need to take a powernap which will restore your soul. How is your health? Are you working out like you said you were going to? Are you eating properly drinking enough water? Taking “me time”? Are you walking in your purpose or taking the steps to fulfill your purpose? You know the saying if mama ain’t happy then nobody is happy. You must take care of yourself ladies. If you are married your 3rd priority is to your husband and making sure his needs are met. I’m nor just talking about sexual needs but quality time, etc. And if you have kids then they are next, other family members are 4th. God has an order and sometimes as women because we are so busy we forget the order.

Okay so now that we are clear on order, How do we really obtain balance? First make sure that you are not giving too much attention in one area, tipping the scale and ignoring or neglecting the other areas. Make a “to do list” and schedule what day you will accomplish the task. Please set realistic goals. Another important point I want to make is, if you are going to obtain balance in your life they are going to be some things or people you will either have to give less time to or things or people you will need to cut off. Now I’m not talking about a spouse or kids. But some people will drain you and if they are not doing anything with their life they will want you to ride on the train with them. If you are working on a certain task and the phone rings ignore it and set a time to return calls, check e-mail, etc. We lose balance when we give too much attention to things and people that are not connected to our purpose. The only time I get on Facebook is when someone sends me a message. When you are busy working on what God has called you to do you will find yourself talking on the phone less, textingless, IMing less, Facebooking less, My spacing less, etc. Listen to all of that I called out. The devil’s tactic is to get us distracted so we will lose our focus. Stay focused. Facebook, You tube, etc, has nothing to do with my purpose but it gives me a break and allows me a short period of time to connect with people. But I will not be on there for an hour or hours at a time. So if that is a necessity to you schedule that also on your “to do list” and the time allotted for that task. Remember no area in your life should have all of your time, balance the scale, and always keep God first. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. I have to go but I hope that helps. Please read Matthew 6:33 and Matthew 11:28 KJV.

In Motion

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday April 6, 2010. Well folks today I would like for you all to look at yourselves and honestly ask, am I in “Motion” and what kind of motion is it. Now motion is defined as the act of moving, but I want you to look at it in a different way. In your current state there are all types of “Motions” you can be in while in the act of moving. For instance, are you “Emotional”, constantly moving form one feeling to another, never being stable, and constantly making irrational decisions off of how you feel? Are you causing a “Commotion” in your current environment; always into trouble or drama is always swarming around you. Or is that you are in “Demotion”; you sit there helpless as everything is moving out of your possession to some elses like the loss of your job, your marriage, or your home. Now you may be going through all of these “Motions”, but I would like to remind you of the best “Motion”. The type of motion that only God can truly put you in and that is “Promotion”. He will take from your current state as you are and move you to the next lever by the integrity of your heart and the skillfulness of your hands. That promotion you want comes from your dudillegence and steadfast in the faith in God. So don’t get discouraged about all those other "Motions" that blur your vision just make sure you stay focused on the greatest motion Promotion, because out of all of them we know that one is truly from Him. God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Monday April 5, 2010. I hope everyone had a Happy Easter and didn’t get into it with any CME folks. You know those individuals that only go to church on Christmas, Mother’s Day, and Easter. Anywho, in our day-to-day actions everything is being accounted for and accumulated. Every positive and negative thing we loose in the earth is also loosed in Heaven. What are you loosing from within? Are you loosing good deeds, love, and God’s word, or are you loosing negativity, slothfulness, and anger. How you are and how you act matters now. Don’t wait until you come to the later of your days before you loose good things. Loose them now. I can only imagine what it would be like on Judgment Day and the Lord takes you to the room where our life’s loosing are. Then He turns to you and says “Look, here are your works on the earth.” Will we be terrified by a horrid site or overjoyed with peace. From there would be the proof of your judgment. This is what I can only imagine. So from here on out saints please speak good tidings, God filled words, and bleed on the earth a joyous heart with the love pent up in your bosom. God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this TJIF; Thank Jesus Its Friday April 2, 2010. Happy Good Friday and Easter to everyone. Today I just want to talk briefly to you about what the Lord has done for us. I’m sure you have all ready know the story that He died and has rose on the third day with all power. That same power is just as awesome now as it was back then. And I don’t know if you know it or not, but Jesus designed it so we can tap into that power too. I’m going to share it with you. IN order for us to do this we must do three things. The first thing is we must perform an action. His power is contingent on us. IF we never act on the things that we desire nothing will never come. If we never step out on faith, ask Him, or move in obedience His power cant be activated. The thing we wanted will just sit in our faces with a million and one obstacles in front of it. Now most people can easily do the first part, but some people stumble when it comes to the second part. The second thing is that it has to go through Him. Through Him all things are possible. Your action was to get you up moving and everything that is going through Him is the response to the action. Meaning if it is going through Him it’s anointed to be opened up to you. Now here is where a huge percentage of people get lost, overwhelmed, and stopped. They forget that they have to perform the first step again to complete their desire. They have to perform on action again after He has answered the call. After that door was open now we have to walk through it and not be satisfied just that the He opened it. Lets quit standing in porch of our destinies and desires and walk in it. Please read Matthew 7:7-8

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Thursday April 1, 2010. Today is April FOOLS day and I would like to specifically point out a lot of people how have foolish thinking. Now I’m not calling you’ll a fool, I’m just saying some of you all are a little foolish. Anywho, I know everyone has heard the statement “Don’t use the Lord’s name in Vain” before. They are basically saying don’t call on Him if you don’t need Him and don’t perverse His name. Now what I mean by perverse is like saying you are manipulating peoples heart by using His name for your own personal gain. Or when a person knowingly lying and says “I swear to God.” Just defiling His name just to get over on someone. Those who do this hold nothing sacred. This is totally unacceptable. Then over the years the terminology of the curse “____ Dammit” has become acceptable by society. What is going on? Every time I hear someone say it, it just rubs me the wrong way. Now that curse has even evolved into changing “God” to “Got” so that person can still use that curse and have the excuse of “ I’m not saying God… so I can use it.” NO you can’t. Just because you replace His name with another word the context and meaning still stands, thus you still used His name in vain while cursing God. Some of you or may not may remember this, but it’s just like back in the day as a kid you used to try and say “Dang” in front of your grandparents and they almost flipped. You caught a backhand to the mouth so quick it was ridiculous. Even though you switched “Dang” with “Damn” they were the same thing and you were still punished. So you had to remove it from your vocabulary altogether. The same goes for this. SO lest stop being April fools and Yearly fools for that matter, and use the Lord’s name properly; so it’s power will be appropriately distributed. Please read Leviticus 19:12 and Exodus 20:7 KJV

Purpose

PURPOSE

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this March 31, 2010. Well folks it’s Hump Day, but more importantly it’s Women’s Wednesday and today we honored again to have again an awesome woman of God Ms. Sonya Waddell that’s going to deliver a word from the Lord to help us get over that hump. So without further a due, here’s Ms. Sonya Waddell. I used to think that I was here on earth to become educated, get a good job, marry a God fearing man, have 2.5 kids, and have a nice house and that was it. Boy was I mistaken! So I challenge you ladies today and ask, Why are you here? What has God called you to do in the earth to build his kingdom? Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, “For I know they plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” So if you don’t know your purpose it’s okay because God does and he says to call unto him, he will listen, seek him and you will find him. Very rarely do people automatically know there purpose. So you must ask your creator what is it that He wants you to do in the earth. In Isaiah 45:10 it asks, “What have you brought to birth?” The vision, dream God has given you is it dormant and still in the womb or have you brought it to life. Ask God to reveal your purpose and get busy. Time is running out. We wake up some days and don’t even know what season it is, they are earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, and animals are roaming wild in the streets. For those who know there purpose, are you walking in it? Or working on the steps to fulfill your purpose? Do you have a plan? Do you have a support system? Trust me you will get discouraged, frustrated, agitated, irritated, and want to throw in the towel so keep people around you that can lift you up. Are you getting specific instructions from God on how to bring the purpose he has entrusted to you to fruition? Just some thoughts, have a great week and be blessed. Is My Church Fit for Living?

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this Tuesday March 30, 2010. I would like everyone to take a moment to stop and take a look at themselves for a minute. Think about the church you attend. Does it look all run down with a vandalized sanctuary, broken windows, graffiti all over the pulpit, soiled pews, and a unbearable stench floating through the air? Or is it clean with everything polished and looking nice with a refreshing sent of the Holy Spirit? In I Corinthians 3:16 it states “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” So if our bodies are temples, why do we continuously trash it with alcohol, defile it with lustful sex, incapacitate it with drugs, burn it down with smoking and remove its foundation with bitter, selfish, hateful, negative thinking. How can the Spirit of God dwell in a place like that? How can the Holy Spirit call a place overrun with those problems home? Think of your body as a physical church, holy ground, made especially for the Lord to come and dwell in. It’s made for people to come unto it to receive a blessing and word from its minister. But if it’s all rundown, tattered and destroyed, no one will come unto it. It isn’t functional. Now let me lay this on you to. Earlier I said just a few ways we defile our temple by all these different acts right, and in that same scripture God said he will destroy that temple. SO where do you think all of those illnesses come from. They are the harvest of so many seeds that defiled His temple; Lung cancer, liver cancer, HIV, AIDS, tumors and so on. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m specifically talking about those individuals who abuse their bodies constantly not individuals that God is doing a greater work in for other reasons. So take a moment and check out your church grounds and see what type of renovations are needed before God just decides to demolish it. Hopefully you attend a church like the second described earlier and then you can go out and help a friend or stranger renovate theirs. Please read I Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Monday March 29, 2010. First I again have to apologize for last weeks mishaps; due to my schedule change at work. But now I’m back on track and fired up for this week’s word, so lets jump right into it. During our maturation in life most of our teachers, mentors, friends and parents have almost always said the same thing when it come to getting what you want out of life. They said “If you want anything out of life you gotta work hard for it.” Now doesn’t that sound familiar? It's phrases like this that are throne around so carelessly which could throw a growing child’s mind down a difficult path in life without the second half of that statement. Most of them that have said those words are only repeating what was said to them many years ago, yet it may not have birthed any fruit as of yet. Ask this question. Has that methodology brought them what they so desired from back then? Are they living their dream? More times then none they are not. So why do we continue to give the half good advice which is ultimately bad advice that we where taught? Now don’t get me wrong we must work hard for the things we want, but the second part is the most important and it is always left out. And that is to seek God’s kingdom first and His righteousness before that thing that we so desire. All that we are looking for is already there, but due to the half advice and teachings we give our youth we ignorantly divulge the long or wrong path toward life's gifts. So next time we give anyone advice we need to make sure all paths start and end with Jesus. We need to make sure that all paths that we send them down drives them right through the His heart which will take them down the roads of uplift, process and eventually success. For that is the best excursion that they could ever go on toward their destiny and desires. Please read Matthew 6:33 KJV

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies, with me David Mitchell II, on this hump day Wednesday March 24, 2010. Today I have come to see how much flavor you have. In Matthew 5:13 the children of God are called the salt of the earth. Why do you think He chose to call us the salt of the earth? I believe He’s saying that His children are sprinkled across the world to give the world the right amount of flavor and taste. Now that’s what salt is used for right; flavor. Lets look at the word flavor which is the best characteristic that describes salt. If you remove the letter “L” from flavor, what does that leave us with? Favor. Follow me now. If favor is in the flavor of salt, then it is safe to say that God’s favor is dispersed all across the world because we are the salt. Lets take if a step further, salt is added to food and is cooked with the food. So this is telling us that God’s favor is added to the situation, but it is also cooked with the fire of circumstances and tribulation; which will let His favor influence the taste whole of the situation. But, if we are NOT doing what GOD has ordained us to do then He really has no use for us. What I mean by this is, if we are not using the favor that He has put in us to give flavor to different situations then where can He actually use us? So we all need to make sure that the favor, that God has bestowed upon, still has its flavor and is ready to be added to every situation that taste bland to the Lord. Please read Matthew 5:13 KJV

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday March 23, 2010. Today’s message is directed to those individuals who constantly are wrestling with the same recurring issues. They are the ones who are constantly falling into the same bad relationship over and over again. They are the ones who no matter what can’t stop him/herself from fornicating while in a marriage or committed relationship. They are then one who no matter how much money they get on Friday, by Sunday they don’t know where it went at all. These are just a few of examples that of some of the stronghold we face. At some point we must sop and say no more. WE must then recognize the reason behind all of the repetitious circumstances. We have to figure out that its not that person we are dealing with, but it is the evil Spirit that in consuming their evil way. Its not the that person can’t stop the infidelity, truth of the matter is the spirit that’s controlling them and is the reason for all they fornicating. Its not the person that is abusive toward is you, it s the spirit the rules them to lash out. The “Person” is neither the problem nor our enemy; it is the demonic spirits attached to them. So you need to get prayed up with your spiritual armor on, covered by the blood, and then pray like you’ve never prayed before and you call that devil by its name, rebuke it, and cast it out in the name of Jesus. Quite taking the wrong matches by wrestling with the wrong people and start pinning these evil spirit in your lives out of the ring from when they came. Please read Ephesians 6:12 KJV

Rejection, Reaffirmation and Application

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Monday March 22, 2010. Well folk I’m glad to be back with you with an awesome word from God that I’m sure will help you. Why is it when we are called to do the work of God we reject it at first. We didn’t hesitate at all. I mean we don’t even give it a second thought at first. We just immediately say “No not me Lord” or “ I think you got the wrong person for this here.” We are a trip. Many of us live upstanding lives and actually want God’s will to reign in our lives, but we blatantly deny His first attempt to answering our prays that will jumpstart our destinies. Then due to our fear we have the audacity to make Him repeat His self as though we didn’t hear Him clearly the first time. At this point most of us run from the call due to fear, the pressure of the charge/call, the high expectations, and the low spiritual self esteem. This then leads God to then reaffirm the call that He gave us before with additional words of comfort. These words will calm us down from the shock or the good news. They will stop us from running or at least slow us down and they will also be the driving force that will propel us into our call headfirst. Then finally you have the application. The application is two fold. First God will apply His blessing over our lives in order for us to perform His heavenly works. And two, we have to apply all of the wisdom, understanding, and knowledge that the blessing holds, toward our destined call. So friends don’t take the hard way of toward the call with all of the rejection and running. Take the easy way by accepting His call the first time He calls you. Then the quicker you get started the quicker you can possibly finish. And the quicker you finish the more time you have to enjoy the promise of the fruits of your labor. The Multitudes p2

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II. Well folks its TJIF! Thank Jesus Its Friday March 12, 2010! I so happy the weekend is here. Well we are on the second half of our mini series of the Multitude. Yesterday we briefly discussed the power in numbers and in the multitude, but we didn’t talk about what that power was. Well I have come to tell you what you lack is in the multitude. Especially if what you need is Jesus. For it states in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” So if you are in the multitude Jesus is right there in the midst of everyone and thus where your power lies. His power is there for healing, comforting, miracles, and blessings. Just like in the famous story of Jesus feeding the multitude. They came to be delivered, and healed. They excepted that and that is what exactly what Jesus did and He performed a miracle in there midst to feed all 5000 of them. He is the doorway of deliverance for all things and that doorway is easiest to find in the multitude, because there are more people with the like problems and going to the same destination. So if more people are needing to go through that doorway, then isn’t that doorway going to be larger and thus easier to find. I mean by the testimonies, one would be lead straight to and through it if their heart is willing and open to it. That is the true power of the Multitude. What do you think the church congregation is? It’s a multitude of people sitting at the foot of a man or woman that is hopefully ordained to speak the will of God into their lives. If there is power in prayer, wouldn’t it be better to pray in the multitude for your situation to change with the number of powerful prayers going up. So friends rest in that power Jesus that is constantly in the multitude. Please read Matthew 18:20 KJV and Luke 9:11-17 KJV.

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Thursday March 11, 2010. We as the children of God deal with the inevitable problems and situations that constantly cause us to call on the power of God. But during these tuff times in our lives we often get scared and turn inward to isolate ourselves from the world. The Devil seeing our fear, frustration, and confusion begins to manipulate our minds to make that old mole hill look like a huge mountain. But I have come to tell you that God often does great works through His people and there is power in numbers. You may not know this, but when God does a spiritual shift in the earth, there are thousand going through exactly the same thing you are with just a different paint job on it. The multitude is moving in the same direction and to the same destination. But the Devil would have you to believe that you’re the only one going through this and know one else would understand. He’s attempting to divide the Body of Christ. So come out from behind the wall you’ve built. Reunite with the Body and openly talk about your hardships, problems, and situations; because I guarantee you there is someone around you that has a testimony that will help you with your situation. And there is someone around you that can learn from your situation. That is why you are going through it. Power is in the testimony and there’s power in numbers. So become apart of God’s multitude and tap into that power. Please read Exodus 3:7-8 KJV

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this hump day Wednesday March 10, 2010. Have you ever stopped and pondered on the thought of why you are the way you are? Why do you have some physical features you just really hate or certain parts of your personality and character people just don’t understand or dislike? Are we being punished for the sins of our parents, forefathers, or did we sin in such a fashion that this flaw was bestowed upon us? I mean God is a PERFECT God in every since of the word, so if we were made in HIS image; why are we filled with so many flaws? Well I’m glad you asked. God made us with flaws to keep us humble and to be perfect in HIM and not ourselves. For if we were perfect, we would not call unto Him. Having these flaws is also a motivation tool for us to strive for better things in life and to overcome what we believe is holding us back. Our flaws are the fathers of change in our lives. You can either hate them and do something about them or you can love and embrace them while moving forward in your life. Finally we have all of these flawed filled ailments not as a result of our parent’s sins. Nor for the sake of our sins, but the most important reason for these imperfections is that they are the will of God and will be used for His will; in that set day and time. So either attempt to change those flaws if they are a hindrance or embrace them until its time for Jesus to work His blessing and your testimony. Please read John 9:1-3 KJV

Ahead of God

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this Tuesday March 9, 2010. Well today I’m going to doing something a little different. Sunday my pastor, Bishop Dale C. Bronner of Word of Faith Family Cathedral Center, preached such an awesome word that I just had to share it with you guys. Out of all the many points of the sermon I’m only going to touch on two of them and of course it’s not verbatim, but the just of it I hope you will receive. He was preaching from Matthew 14: 22-33, but I will only be discussing 22-28. In the 22nd verse Jesus sent the disciples AHEAD of Him to the other side of the river. Me personally, beforehand I never thought anything of this portion of the verse, but Bishop found a great hidden jewel for us. He sent the disciples ahead of Him to place them in a STORM, in order for them to trust, believe, and grown in God. Just like in life Jesus will let us go forward in our free willed decisions, but little do we know that his presence is already at our destination. (i.e. His praying on the mountain top reached the other side before this disciples did.) In addition, even though God’s presence is all around us, even when we are terrified of storm of circumstance not knowing what to do nor which way to go. Then even when God is approaching us in the midst of the storm, we still shutter in fear questioning any and everything, even Jesus himself. Then Bishop Bronner shared with us a revelation of the word about the 26th verse. That even though we are in horrible storms in our lives, even though Jesus shows up doesn’t mean that the storm is automatically going to go away. When Jesus came unto the boat the Storm continued until He and Paul got into the boat. This lets us know that Every time we are in the thick of trouble He might not take away the trouble, but rest assured He will be by our side through the end of the trouble. Only through maturation will we be able to grow into the people God has ordained us to be. We won’t do any growing if He always removes the storms, because we will never learn how to master them. That is why He let us go on Ahead of Him so we can undoubtedly get ourselves into something and continually learn again how awesome He is. Please read Matthew 14:22-28 KJV

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Monday March 8, 2010. Let me ask you this, have you felt alone? Even if people are around you, they just don’t understand what you’re going through, even if you told them what’s going on. I feel like that often, and often I find myself roaming in circles trying to do the things God has for me to do. So how do we get out of these ruts? I find it most effective to go back to the beginning and start there. Retrace your steps and make sure what you did and what you’re doing is still on track for what God has for you to do. After that, we must get ready to step back out into the unknown. If we are following God’s will for our lives we are destined to do this for lifetime, but Get ready anyhow. God told Jeremiah to “Get Yourself Ready”, because he was going to see terrible things and be terrified in them. That was apart of his purpose. The Lord told him its going to be scary, but I am with you and will rescue you out of trouble. SO when we are alone in the misted of our walk in His will, we might be scared, we might feel alone, we might feel ill prepared and under qualified, but we can find assurance in the constant presence of God that will rescue us in our times of need. So after this reassurance, lets Re-Up and Get Ourselves Ready to step back into our purpose and His will as a strong fortified city which will stand against any and everyone obstacle. God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this TJIF. THANK JESUS IT’s FRIDAY March 5, 2010. Well we have finally made it to the end of the week in one peace. Thank you Jesus. Have you ever loved something or someone so much, but you had to let it go? I mean loved it so hard that you get sad just at the thought of them leaving or getting hurt. Just like us, I’m pretty sure our Father God didn’t want His son to come down to endure such persecutions and atrocities. Not saying He didn’t want us to obtain eternal life, but no father wants to see their children go through such hardships. But it was what had to be done. Because His love for the world was so great, and His son’s heart was so BIG that He could no longer sit on high and watch man self-destruct. So Jesus came to save all of us. And our gracious God gave His ONLY begotten son, meaning the only son HE physically birth from His loans with all power in heaven and earth. God loved Jesus so much to let Him go and do what was written. Just like when a parent is seeing their child off to college for the first time. Its hard for them to see their child leave when they are used to them being in their presence all of the time. But in order to save the thing God loved He had to let Go Whom He loved to endure life so that man could gain everlasting life. But let me tell you a little secret. The things that you are able to let go of that you love so much, God sees it as a sacrifice and it shall come back unto. It may be in a different form or fashion, but its essence shall return unto you and shall be with you forever more. Just like Jesus returned back to the Lords side. Sometime it comes back even better than it left. So if something or someone needs to be loosed from your life, let it go with love and one day love shall return it onto with the stamp of God. Because if its something you love and have to let go, normally God has some use of it and you are getting in the way by holding onto it so tight. Love it go and God will Love it back to you. God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Beautiful Thursday March 4, 2010. Well folks we are continuing in our little mini series Let it Shine. I have a question for you. Have felt like the odd person out in a crowd? Like you didn’t belong where ever you were at? Not saying that the people you were around were beneath you or anything, but they just knew you didn’t belong there. Or have you ever walked in a room and the ENTIRE room stopped what they were doing, in mid conversation, and turned around and looked at your entry into the room? Well this type of thing constantly happens to us because people can’t help but acknowledge the light when it suddenly appears. Just like if you were in a room, pitch back, minding your own business and someone suddenly turned on the light; you would immediately turn and see who turned on the light. It’s just like that when we walk into certain places. Even though people don’t know why they turn and look at you all crazy, they are subconsciously acknowledging the light of God within you blinding them. This light is and supposed to be a beacon unto the people. That is why us Jesus folks folk toward one another in random environments. We come to each other’s resonating light. So let you light shine upon the hilltop. Draw near the like in spirit to help you or visa versa. Draw near the lost so you can lead them unto back to the right hand of Jesus. When God has something for you there is nowhere to hide, for His light is inescapable. SO go and stay in the light and dwell with Jesus constantly. Please read Matthew 5:14-15 KJV

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Hump Day Wednesday March 3, 2010. Well folks we are back at it again thankfully today is little more consistent with our normal messages. I was wondering if you guys have ever seen someone and it seemed like they were just glowing or shining bright? I mean like they almost was glowing in a crazy way. Now I’m not crazy before you get to talking about me and I don’t take any hallucinogens, but what I speaking of is their spirit is SO beautiful that they are wearing the light of God. Showing Him off to the world and any one who wants to see. it It’s defiantly an awesome sight to witness. Now what does that say about you and I? Does your light shine visibly? I hope you guys see mine as I do these videos, but we need to take a good look at ourselves and ask how bright or am I letting my light shine? If it is shining can I let it shine brighter or am I hiding and keeping all to myself? We must share the glory of the light with one another and the world. SO friends stand up and let your light glow, shine, and go forth to abolish the darkness of the world. You are that light so please let it SHINE! Please read Matthew 5:16 KJV

Give Up on Giving Up

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday March 2, 2010. Well folks today’s message is defiantly different from our normal messages. Now, when I do these videos I really hope that they are always right on time, on point, with all of God and none of me. So with this message I truly pray that it reaches that person or those individuals that it is intended to reach in that same fashion of on point, on time, all of God and none of me. I’m sure many of you are familiar with the story of Job. Now most just now of how he was the wealthiest man on the face of the earth and that he was upright in all of his ways. Then God allowed the Satan to take everything away from him, (i.e. his wife, children, cattle, servants, health, friends) everything except his life. God dropped in my spirit last week this message and it was coupled with the fact that you, someone you know is contemplating suicide. Now that took me back for a minute. But I am begging you, who ever you are out there, even if I don’t know you or you don’t know me PLEASE be like Job and don’t give up. The devil is a lie. That is not the answer to your problems. Yes you may have lost your job, or sleeping from couch to couch. Yes your loved one may have died tragically. Yes you may be going through a divorce. Yes you may have lost your child. But the greatest thing I want to remind you that you have not lost is the LOVE of GOD. Satan only wants you to focus on all the negative, but God is right there with you with every loving every step of the way. He has never left you. Even if you can’t feel or see HIM, He’s there. I have to be honest with you, even Job wanted his life to be taken away after he lost everything, BUT since he SO relied on God, he forgot how to Give up. He didn’t know that he could take his own life. That wasn’t even an option for him. That’s how much he relied on God. He only knew that God birthed him and ONLY GOD could take him away from this world. NOT BY HIS OWN HANDS. PLEASE rely only on GOD for everything right now while you’re so frustrated and confused. God still has great things in line for you. You just need to get through this storm and be ready to receive what Jesus has for you. Don’t let the Devil cheat you out of your promise, because He already knows what’s in store for you. You must be destined for great things because if you were not you weren’t, then you wouldn’t be under attack and under so much stress. Yes, you may be heavy burdened, but instead of baring it yourself, share it with Jesus. That’s the reason the carried the cross. That’s the place we lay our sins and our troubles. That is truly what He wants you to do. Just give HIM a try again and GIVE UP on GIVING UP. Although this message is basically all of Job please read at least Job 1:18-22 KJV

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell, on this Monday March 1, 2010. Today’s message is not like our normal messages, but it is defiantly needed. Now I know many have been saying the end is near, the end is near, for many years, but I would like to come and tell you unfortunately that the beginning is of sorrow is here. I’m not prophesying anything, I’m just looking at the current state of our world and comparing it to the bible and seeing what we come up with. I know that’s kind of backwards, but here me out you let me know what you think. In Matthew 24:1-11 Jesus talks to the disciples on the Mont of Olives privately and they ask Him about the end of the world. Jesus then goes on and tells them of His second coming and it reads:
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come In my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
Now I would like to just point a few things that we need to take into consideration if theses are clear warnings or not. If many shall come saying they are Christ, well I don’t know if you noticed how many false preachers, pastors, bishops, popes, evangelists, missionaries, and some on that are out there in the ministry for the wrong reasons leading those who follow Christ into the pit of destruction. There are a lot of these individuals that know the word backward and forward and quote a thousand scriptures, but DO NOT have that personal relationship with God. Therefore they can’t lead you to Him if they don’t know where He’s at. Then there are the wars or “RUMORS” of wars (i.e. what’s going on right now over in Afghanistan and surrounding areas.) You all know about this, our soldiers are dying for the greed of man instead of for the protection of our nation. But it says this must be and it is not the end. Then nations shall rise against nation. I believe this is what we are heading toward with all of these different countries debt and swinging values of currencies. That is a weak point in a nation and other nations will exploit that weakness while, like right now, people are loosing homes, jobs, and can’t even feed themselves nor heal from any illnesses. That sounds like a famine and pestilence to me. Then we have giant earthquakes hitting all over the world. Chili, Haiti, Portugal, and shot California which has one every other day. The next verse in the scriptures says this is the beginning of sorrows. Where the world will cry out for so many losses. Then the final verse I believe that America will be hated after a lot of these events and will take or be given the blame. The reason is of course the war going on already, and the World’s economy crashing is because of us. So I believe this will cause the divide amongst us and those same false prophets will come to try to milk what ever else they can out of us. Well that’s my observation. The Great I AM

God Morning everyone! TJIF!! Thank Jesus It’s Friday! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Friday February 26, 2010. During my studies one day I came across this scripture and there was something that caught my eye. In Exodus 3:14 it states “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” Now in that verse God calls Himself “I AM THAT I AM” and a question dawned on me, why did they use the word “THAT” instead of just saying “I AM” like they did further in that verse? I don’t know, to you it may seem like nothing, but that struck me as kind of odd. So what is “THAT”?

It is defined as: a grammatical word used to indicate somebody or something that has already been mentioned or identified, or something that is understood by both the speaker and the hearer. THAT also means: indicating a familiar person or thing and indicating distance from the speaker.

So from out of the definition of “THAT”, God is saying He is the one that has already been mentioned unto the people that Moses was about to go speak to in this particular verse. His presence has already been established and He has already been announced unto them. He was familiar to them and the obvious distance between the God and the people is pretty evident…so I guess “THAT” was the perfect word to inject in that verse. In addition, by him saying that he’s the “I AM”, he is stating that he is all or everything. That he is anything that has come or will ever come. All things he is. Now lets take this a little further. Just like our name has a meaning or supposed to have a meaning. Well when translated it should read like a divine rule over ones life. So “I AM THAT I AM” should translate into something like this. I am all; everything that has already been mention and identified as familiar that is understood by both the hearers and speakers whom everything is. Now let that soak in for a minute, because I don’t think it can get any deeper than that. My head was hurting just trying to figure it out myself. SO I’m glad the Lord wanted to keep it simple and just say, “I AM THAT I AM”. Please read Exodus 3:14 KJV

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Thursday February 25, 2010. We folks we are taking it back to the basics as we discuss our mini series on Curses and Cures. Yesterday we talked about curses and more specifically generational curses, but today we will be discussing cures or the cure. I don’t know if you know this or not, but every curse has a cure. You want know how I know this? Take a look at the word curse for starters. If you delete the “S” what does that leave you with? It leaves with cure. Thus, if you delete the “S” you delete the curse. So it is our job to find those “S” in our lives so we can delete them and only have the cure. Then once we have the antidote, now we can cure other people (i.e. through your testimony) since we have been delivered from that thing. Please don’t underestimate the power of the testimony. Now understand this also. Even if you figure out the cure, Jesus is the only one who can reveal and deliver you from the curse. Our Lord hears our cries and shall answer the distressed. But we must be diligent in the Word and the relationship. So quit your pity parties, stop your whining, stop your complaining, come our of confusion and delete your “S” so you can start on the greater works that God has for you. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Back to Basics: Curses and Cures

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this hump day Wednesday February 24, 2010. Well folks today we’re going to go back to the basics again. And this message we will be talking about curses and cures. Today we will be focusing on curses or more specifically generational curses. Now I here so many people say that there is some type of generational cures over their lives that they are fighting against daily. And it behooves me how many people actually believes this. I used to say it myself that there is a generational curse towards my finances among other things. Then one day it dawned on me. Who said I had a generational curse? Who did I give the authority to speak such a thing into my life and more importantly why did I pick up such a horrid thing up and claim it as so? Then after that things got even worse. What the heck was I thinking? Now don’t get me wrong, there is such a thing as generational curses, but they should be pretty evident what they are. Also we have the freewill not to follow in those footsteps and not fall in those traps now that our eyes are open. Don’t let folk speak such things into your lives and don’t pick them up nor allow other people curses’ to be flung into your lives either. For instance, you’re in a relationship with someone and they have something going on with them. Don’t let their curse gain more territory and spread to you (i.e. slothfulness, finance, craziness) or whatever. So be careful of such things, because the knowledge and acceptance of this could save you so much heartache, headache, and pain. Positive Anger

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday February 23, 2010. Well today’s message actually came about from a debate I was having with friend of mine about the video I did called “Stop Forgetting About Jesus” and in the video I used the word pissed. Now that’s where the debate began because this person, and I’m sure others of you are out there, took that me vocalizing my anger as being negative. And that was not the case at all. I had to explain to them that emotion I has delivering was not coming from a malicious place at all. My heart was not filled with hate, by no means, but it was a positive anger. Now I know you’re probably thinking to yourselves “how can you be positive and angry at the same time?” It’s very easy. Even though you are angry or upset with someone or something you don’t have to hate or dislike them. You may just disagree with the situation or their actions. For instance, your child may upset you and you may discipline them, but you don’t hate them, you just dislike what they did. Or like in our conversation I asked them if you are with your living father in the flesh, the one that birthed you, and you constantly see everyone disrespecting him, dogging him out, and spreading lies all around about him, I know for a fact that at some point you will bet upset. Now I you won’t hate those individuals, but you would be upset and dismayed with all of there actions, because you want to protect your father from all of their slander. Not this individual, but so many people want to piece together only certain imagery about Jesus that He was only meek and wouldn’t harm a nat. Let me tell you Jesus got upset too. Yes He was meek and all that, but don’t get it twisted, Jesus did get angry. The only thing is, is that He didn’t let nor do anything with malice in His heart. Prime example, when He was kicking tables over in the synagogue and when the priest kept trying to trip Him up to prove that He was not the messiah. So it is OK to be angry sometimes, but don’t let that anger hold any malice. Let it have a reason and behind that, love. Please read Mark 3:2-5 KJV

Purpose & Promise

Purpose and Promise

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Monday February 22, 2010. Well friends today’s message we will be talking about purpose and promise. As we walk and work in God’s will toward our purpose, He uses an interesting catalyst to get us to working. And that is His promise. Now I’m not talking about the promises of old that we are still reaping the benefits from, but I’m talking about the end of the thing that He shown you. You know that dream you had when He showed you what you're supposed to be doing. And within that dream it was so unconceivable for you to do by yourself to you undeniably needed God's help. Yup, I'm talking about that vision of you while you are in your wealth reaping the fruits of your labor. That’s your individualized personal promise. Well He shows us the end of the thing to get us excited, motivated, and to get us up to move in our purpose. In addition to that, it is used as a goal for us to reach and aspire to. But so many of us get so caught up and focused on the Promise we overlook through whom the promise is coming from. It will and can only come through Jesus. So if you are not focused on Jesus during your purpose journey toward your promise, then you will never receive it. The promise is only to motivate you and for you to exercise your faith. But it is not there for you to boast and indulge in vanity round about it. Head toward your promise, but Focus on Jesus the whole way through, because what ever our purpose is on earth it is supposed to glorify the Kingdom of God and be a blessing to His people. Be Not Yoked with Unbelievers

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II. TJIF Thank Jesus it’s Friday, February 19, 2010! I think you all don’t have any idea how happy I am that is Friday. This week really put it on me. Well I have a good on for you guys to close out the week. And the title for today’s message is “Be Not Yoked with Unbelievers” This message came from one of Paul’s letter to Corinthia. As we are doing our share as a people, believers, and followers in Christ we must not fall subject to the people we are sharing Jesus with. We must continue to be separate. We must know how to move in the world and be not of the world. It is just like when we first turned our lives over to Christ, we stood out like a sore thumb. Because before we were going with the currents of the world, then we found Jesus and stood up. Now walk against the currents of the world. And of course it’s harder to go against the currents than taking the easy rout by going with the currents of this chaotic world. Its funny how they use the analogy of being yoked. If you crack open an egg and drop it in the skillet, the yoke is unharmed and is surrounded by egg white. We, the followers of Christ, are the yoke and the unbelievers are the egg whites. But how would you be able to tell who is the follower of Christ if you scrambled that same egg? You couldn’t because the yoke is no longer separate from the egg white or You are no longer distinguishable from the world. Notice I didn’t say separate form the world. You are somewhat separate due to the fact you know and have found Christ, but you backslid into old habits and comfortably with the sinners because of your corresponding conducts. So, one must be fully separate themselves from unbelievers to fully show them what a true believer looks, and acts like. Please read II Corinthians 6:14-17 KJV

After Patience is Promise

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Thursday February 18, 2010. Well the message we received yesterday was so good I thought I should follow it up with a lil something, something. And while I was doing my research, I came across a passage that I’ve never seen before. In Hebrews 10:36, I found it interesting that after your patience, and the completion of God’s will that is the time you will receive God’s promise. Think about it. Would it make sense for God to give us that huge promise of financial freedom, a new house or what ever if we didn’t finish His work that He needed? That doesn’t make since especially if you did nothing or didn’t finish the task at hand. Now let me ask you this. Are you standing in the storm right now waiting patiently for God to deliver his promise or are you waiting in the storm for nothing because you have not done His will. Our God is a God of order. And that order is for us to be patient during and after our tribulations, because we have to wait on the Lord since it is imperative that we operate within His timing; not our own. Then we do the work in the will of God and after that’s done then we will receive our promises from HIM. So take a step back from your current situation and ask yourself if you are being patient and working to the Will of God towards its completion, because if one of those things are missing that promise that you’ve been waiting for will never come to manifestation. Well folks as you know it is women’s Wednesday and I am honored to introduce to you a powerful woman of God will and ready to give you a great word for the day, so without further a dew, Ms. Sonya Widdell. Good Morning everyone. My name is Sonya Widdell and happy to be your guest host on the Spanduvilous Dailies today. Since its women's Wednesday I would like to share with something with you from a book called “You’re Late Again Lord, The Impatient Women’s Guide to Waiting”, By Wendy Goodman that changed how I look at patience. Patience is about waiting purposefully. Well what does that mean. Wendy talks about being in a waiting room. While in the waiting room, there is something that is happening. 1. We are to develop a closer relationship with God. 2. God reveals things about us. 3. And we are waiting on time.

1. Ask yourself are you pleased with your relationship with God. Wendy talks about as soon as you arise in the morning, stop and listen to what God is saying to you. Listening should be automatic as your breathing.
2. Before God gives you what you have been waiting on, He will show you things about you that need to be purged. These things are ugly and will make you uncomfortable. God can’t use these things to take you to the next level.

Covetousness, Content, and Continual Presence

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday February 16, 2010. Today our point of conversation is going to be covetousness, contentment, and continual presence. All of these points come from Hebrews 13:5 KJV and it reads, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” These are three very powerful yet simple principles points for everyday living that we should make sure we recognize, start, or continue. The first of these is covetousness. Covetousness means wanting someone else’s property. So basically if it’s not yours, don’t worry about it. Don’t worry about if someone else is in all designer clothes and you’re rotating and mixing and matching brands just to come up with a new outfit. There’s no need to even talk about it, because what we forget and fail to realize is that what God has for us is for us. Not someone else’s things. Which then brings us to our next point of being content. Content means to accept or make do with something. So after not worrying about what someone else has, then we are to appreciate and accept what we already have. Don’t devalue the things you have and have in you. They are just as or even more valuable than the thing that you were looking that the other person has. And the final point is continual presence. Now I’m sure you all know what continual means, but for those don’t, it means uninterrupted. So when Jesus says, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” He is saying He will continually be in our presence answering our call and supplying our needs. He will be there even if we can’t see Him, feel Him or touch Him. Please read Hebrews 13:5 KJV

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Valentines with Jesus

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Monday February 15, 2010. Well to all of the women out there I would like to wish you all a Happy Belated Valentines Day! Unfortunately I didn’t have a Valentine, so I spent mine with Jesus. We had us a good ol’ time! I gave Him the gift of praise at church and the gift of conversation and testimony in the evening. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We collectively praised the Lord in song and spirit. Cause hey you know that Valentines Day is the day you share with that special loved one. I thought it would be appropriate if I meditated on Psalms 91:14 for the day as we spend time together and it reads “Because He hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.” This is reassuring message that He will deliver us from anything just because of His love. He will take us to another lever automatically just for the fact that we know His name. His love is the deliverance and what we shall stand on, along with His word. Now for those of you out there that shared in each other’s love drunkenness, I really hope you all enjoyed yourselves on your dinners, and the quality time with each other. I’m sure it was well needed. So even if your Valentines Day was spent by yourself or with your mate, as long as you had love, God was present in the mix. Please read Psalms 91:14 KJV

Watch Your Mouth

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II. Well it’s TJIF!! Thank Jesus It’s Friday February 12, 2010. I know this one I have for you today I can learn from too. Keep from speaking evil things to or about people. I don’t know about you, but when I’m pissed off at someone or about something; you best believe someone is going to hear about it. And as much as I’ve been tolerating the things people do to me or around me, doesn’t it just feel GOOD to unleash that tyrant unto someone that really deserves it? I’m not saying that it’s right; I’m just saying it feels good to get things off your chest, despite the consequence for the tyrants. Speaking of which, you cannot forget that fatal fact. Because that outburst can and 9 times out of 10 will get you into trouble. And sometimes that trouble is so deep you can’t get out of it. NEWSFLASH! That was all apart of the enemies plan. He just wants to push your buttons until you can’t take it anymore. So stop that from happening we should try what the bible speaks about seeking and perusing peace. So if that’s the case it will be ever fleeting. It’s constantly moving and very evasive. So if peace is constantly on the move we cannot waste time talking about someone in a negative situations or giving someone a piece of our mind. If we want true peace, to every point of the word, we must be speaking good things and speaking peaceful words. Because if you do this you will always be going in the same direction of peace and the pursuit after it won’t be to hard to catch. Please read Psalms 34:13-14

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spandluvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Thursday February 11, 2010. Well today folks we’re going to talk briefly about L.I.G. or Letting It Go. Many times in life we come across things, people, and situations that we grow attached to. But we have to realize that those people and things are only supposed to be in our lives for a season and not a lifetime. Even as much as we love them or it, we have to do the right thing by those people and let them go. Even if it may hurt our feelings we need to L.I.G. Because in the end we are doing more damage then good. If we refuse to let something/ someone go we are getting in God’s way. If we are in the way that person will never turn to God, because they are always turning to you. L.I.G. In the end it will be better. In the end if they are a decent person, after God gets finished with them, they will come back thanking you and apologizing for taking you for granted while treating you like crap. For letting them go is putting them in the best place they could ever be, and that’s in God’s hands. So take an inventory or your life and see what you need to L.I.G. Please read Luke 15:11-13 KJV

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this hump day Wednesday February 10, 2010. Today we are finishing up on the mini series of Back to Basics: Faith, Grace & Mercy. The last installment is hitting on mercy. Now mercy is a strong word. I mean think about it for a minute. If God has mercy in you that means you must of did something that was out of His will or just being plain old disobedient. But with His mercy he holds back His punishment for stepping out of line. That means everything we do wrong (every single day that we live, i.e. sinning) He’s just sitting back chilling watching us do the wrong, waiting for us to come tell Him and tell Him what we did wrong. Then He shows us the correct response to the situation and then He holds back His consequences of those wrongful actions. But please don’t get it twisted, depending how far you jump out of line, Jesus may not intercede on your behalf. If that happens then you have to feel the brunt of God’s disciplinary actions. However, in this we must find the lesson in the every situation. The reason He gave you mercy is because you told Him the truth and did not lie. For while I was doing my research on this topic I constantly kept seeing Mercy and Truth, but not so much as grace and mercy as I had expected. In Psalms 85:10 it states “Mercy and Truth are met together…”. So if they were coupled together it would seem that Mercy has some conditions. If it did not then God would not have poured out His wrath on several different occasions in the bible. So in order to keep God’s mercy upon us, we have to stay soaked in His word and saturated in His will, because all in all His mercy does endure forever and ever. Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

God morning everybody! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday February 9, 2010. Well folks we’re continuing on our topic of Back to Basics: Faith, Grace & Mercy. Today we’re scratching the surface on grace. I love the definition that my Compact Bible Dictionary, Nelson’s Series, gives. It states that grace is the “Favor or kindness shown without regard to the worth or merit of the one who receives it and in spite of what that person deserves.” Wow. That really puts things in perspective a little bit doesn’t it? Just think about for a minute, without God’s grace you would not have been able to get that new job, promotion, or raise. Without God’s grace you would not have been approved for that loan that you know you did not qualify for. Without God’s grace you would have woke up this morning in a sane mind. I mean we would have to do everything perfect if we didn’t have grace available to us. But luckily Jesus came to plead our case so though His grace coupled with our repentance we are saved. I mean image all of the times you KNOW that you disobeyed God’s instruction, when you got fooled by the enemy, or when you hurt His feelings. Thank God for His grace. Thank God that the Grace through Jesus wipes the slate clean every time. So lets not take God’s grace for granted. For the absence of it is His wrath. And we all know how terrifying His wrath it. So I don’t know about you, but I’m going to appreciate His grace and the sacrifice Jesus made for us to have it. Please read Romans 3:22-24 KJV

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Monday February 8, 2010. After all of the deep thoughts and concerns of last week, I have decided to slow it down a bit. I often find myself asking simple questions that I should know, but I take it for granted that what I was taught is the correct information. So from time to time I like to refresh my memory on certain fundamental words, principals, and people of the bible to make sure that I know what those words mean and that I apply them properly in my everyday life. So over the next few days we will be going back to the basics. We will first start off with “Faith”. What is faith? I’m sure many of you have heard it in a sermon or two that “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” from Hebrews 11:1. In essence it is saying that it’s something that you desire that no one else can see. It could be a dream, love, a new car, a new job, and or hopefully Christ Jesus. But the bible also gives us a disclaimer about faith. It states in 1 Peter 1:7, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ”. Now the translation to that is what ever you hope for that no one else can see will be tested or tried to make sure you want it bad enough before you receive it. So if you decided that you’re going to have faith in Jesus, then the things He told you, that you can’t see right now or Him period, will be tested and tried in the fire by the enemy to see if you really want it or Him. That is why the bible says have unwavering faith like in James 1:6. Thus if your faith is unwavering in Him then logically what HE has for you shall truly come to you in a timely fashion. God Morning! TJIF!! Thank JESUS It’s Friday! Well folks I said I had to do a little more research about religion before I delivered my last installment about the subject and I did. While I was at work casually thinking about this particular message Jesus smacked the HECK out of me with a revelation about this topic. It was so strong on me I could not concentrate for two hours. I was compelled to take a half-day yesterday to attend bible study and to get a little more information and to make sure I’m not saying anything wrong. The two minutes I spoke with my bishop I received confirmation, clarity and relief that the way I was feeling isn’t wrong. He shared with me that YES religions are man made systems. Since God loves us so much that he uses those man made devices to reach us. You know the saying that those things made for bad, in the end God uses for good. Well I think Christianity was one of those things, to a certain extent. God only wanted the relationship not the religion. The unfortunate thing is that man thought that the religion was the relationship. Let me take it a step further. Do you KNOW what religion means? Besides of course the normal answer, {RE}- means “again” and {LIGION} derived from {LIGARE}- means “to bind”. Thus leaving us in the case of Christianity to bind us again to Christ. NOW as I mentioned early Jesus shared something a little more straightforward and was so deep I stated to drown. He separated the word into to parts also and he said {RE} – means “again”, now here’s the kicker. if you change the “I” to an “E” the word changes from {Ligion} to {Legion}. And we know that the demons of the underworld call themselves {Legion} - meaning" multitude or great number". I said WOW! My mouth dropped. In Mark 5:9 it says "And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, my name is Legion: for we are many."
They both sound alike and are spelled alike despite that one letter. I believe over the course of time the enemy wanted to be more camouflage and that one letter changed. Just like so many other words through the course of the years. Now with all that being said it is completely up to you what you chose to do, but now you cannot say “well Jesus I didn’t know”, because the truth has been put out there fore you. Laid in your lap to receive. Give God your relationship not your relationship to religion. SO take that and meditate on it. Pleas read Matthew 15:8-9 KJV and Mark 5:9 KJV

Well I had one more installment on our current topic of religion, but I saw fit to hold off a minute and do a little more research. But luckily I still have a little something, something to share with you all. When I speak to you all I try my best to speak from an honest place. A place where there is fault, fear, questions, anger, empowerment, peace, and happiness. So through the rollercoaster of emotion and instability of thought into and behind God’s word; by us all being wired the basically the same how is it possible that we can still do greater works? I mean Jesus said that if we believe in Him, everything he did and more, we could do. I’m just awed by that. Now this is JESUS the CHRIST we’re talking about, not some Jesus (hey-soos) something or rather. How is this possible? Of course Jesus knew something that we didn’t about ourselves and is it we are not utilizing our gifts to their full potential? Why are we constantly letting Jesus down by not answering the call and the charge that He gave us? Lets stand together as one. Dig deep into our souls, and hewn that power inside of us to do these Greater works that HE believed we could do. Please read John 14:12 KJV

No longer should our self-worth hang in a balance on the technicality of the interest of others. We were created on purpose to be a life-changing instrument to all that we encounter. Our lives are transformed by the renewing of our minds (ROMAN12:2) So start nurturing wholeness where you are. Because the more you bring to the party, the greater the celebration will be when others join you. SO ladies you want a man to fall in love with you not your achievements or material acquisitions. Now is the time to make and treasure your friendships with men, and now is also the time to spend time constructively nurturing your relationships with other women as well as your family. It is self-deception to think that if you have unresolved issues with those you should be at peace with in your inner circle that you will be able to live through conflict with a spouse. So never put off tomorrow what you can do today. You know ladies Ruth wasn’t looking for husband, but she got one anyway, which is a indication to me that one doesn’t have to spend their energy hunting for the perfect mate. God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday February 2, 2010. Today we are continuing on the topic of religion. Yesterday I spoke about how religion was man made and how you should unlearn the deception you’ve grown accustom to. The second point I would like to discuss will further drive home why religion is not of God. Let me pose this question to you. How many different doctrines of Christianity are there? Now off the top of my head you have Judaism, Catholics, Baptists, Pena Costal, Prespitarian, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Non – Denominational, and I’m pretty sure there are some more I don’t even know about. But why are there so many different doctrines for one religion Christianity and with one book the bible. I haven’t heard of there being different doctrines in any other religion beside Christianity. There lies the problem, with everyone following all of these different doctrines, how can the body of Christ ever be united. We will always be segmented if we still hang our hats and claim these different “Doctrines” and “Religions”. Jesus said in his own words”…Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.” So why are we continually knowingly dividing the body of Christ by following all if these different doctrines and religions. Now we know God’s house will never fall. SO are we taking things for granted? I can’t answer that question, but I will say this. Lets step out of the conformity of the world and in to a the era of truth to bring forth the correct unity of the body of Christ. Please read Matthew 12:25 KJV

Well folks this next series I’m about to discuss, I’m kind of hesitant, even though I know its needs to be said. But the only thing is I don’t know how you all will receive it. But here goes! I have a very serious question for you all. What is religion or more importantly what is your religion? Some of you are saying you’re Christian right? Or maybe you’re Catholic, Baptist, Penacostal or whatever. Now before I get to my point let me ask another question. Do you get upset as I do when people, media, and anyone else disrespects Christianity. What I mean by this is all of the ridicule and the persecution of individuals once they make a mistake or step outside of the BOX or the image we have said to be a good Christian. We scorn them, shun them, and look down on them as we point our fingers all high and mighty. Who are we to do such a thing. Do we have the right to really judge that individual? Now to my point… as far as religion goes, its safe to say “I’m a Christian”, but the reality of it is I’m not. And neither should you. Now hold on now before you start calling me all types of things and everything else under the sun. Yes I love and have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Yes I’ve been baptized by the Spirit and by water. Yes I am and will forever more follow Jesus until the end. So now you’re probably thinking well then you’re Christian… NO. Here is why. The main reason I say “NO” is because it’s MAN MADE! Now where does it say “and the Lord said” or “ an angel of the Lord delivered a word from the Lord” or anything of that nature about calling ourselves Christians. God is an unchanging God. As far as I know He has always stated what He and that He was the author of prophecies, creation, and message. He always said it came from Him. But in this case, He stamp of approval is nowhere to be found. It just states “And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” Man called us Christians not the Lord. While Jesus was walking HE never called himself a Christian. But the only “religion” in the Old Testament and Jesus Himself said that they followed was walking in “The Way”. And furthermore this is what the Lord shared with me about this subject; He said “ Man can judge that which they make, but no man can judge what I create.” That blew me away. That is why in the media, in churches, and every one else people are constantly being judged and they Can because they have been bamboozled into calming something that they are truly not. That label/ box is not yours. It’s a huge Jedi mind trick conditioned to show you an unattainable image, which will inevitably keep you in the same position. This is all apart of the enemy’s slight of hand. Do you really think the enemy won’t try to twist God’s words to fool us? He tempted Jesus with the word, what makes you think he won’t try us? If you’re going to be in a box be in the right box. Hopefully the box that you pick has the righteous label in “The Way”. That is what the God Himself taught all through the Old Testament and what Jesus taught. So if it’s good enough for Him, it’s good enough for me. Free your mind. Please read Acts 11:26 KJV

God Morning everyone! TJIF!! Thank Jesus It’s Friday!! You’ll don’t understand how happy I am this week is over. Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Friday January 29, 2010. Well, I was wondering if you ever noticed how it felt like you were compelled to go somewhere and low and behold you run into that person you haven’t seen in years or that person that holds the keys to the doorway you’ve been trying to open. Then afterward you stand there thinking I'm sure glad I followed my first mind. It wasn’t by coincidence nor chance. God set all that up. It was by following the Holy Spirit. We must learn how to hewn in on that sixth sense of the Holy Spirit. It can keep you out of trouble and tell you where to go by directing your path. Because God communicates through and to the Holy Spirit, so shouldn’t we stop ignoring it? It’s not your conscience or something, it’s the Spirit. So from here on out let the Holy Spirit order your steps with the footprint of God’s instruction. Please read Acts 20:22-24 NIV

And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Thursday January 28, 2010. Let me ask you this. Have you ever felt kind of strange sometimes as you look out at the world? Everyone is angry for no reason, greed is almost a standard for financial freedom, and selfishness is becoming a way of life. What is going on. And you want to know what, the sad thing is… that know no sees this as a problem. Men and women of God speak unto the people and almost immediately they are cast aside. They’re labeled as fools and hypocrites as their accusers slander their character by conjuring up dirt from their former lives before Christ; while leaving their current image and reputation tarnished and mistrusted. In this world of shame, secrets, and lies I have chosen to stand up for Jesus. I’ve been chosen to help Him inspire a nation, even if these words may fall on deaf ears or hard hearts. If they inspire at least one person to do better, one person to come closer to Jesus, or one person to be saved; all of these inspirations where not be in vain. Do your part and be like Aaron was to Moses. Inspire the world like only you can, like how God designed for you to do. Intercede on the world’s behalf, Invoke the Holy Spirit on your works and through Jesus Inspire a Nation. Please read Exodus 6:9

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this hump day Wednesday January 27, 2010. As you know today is also women’s Wednesday here on the Spanduvilous Dailies and we have an awesome guest host with us today willing and waiting to share the word of God with us. And with no further ado, I’d like to introduce my friend and sister in Christ Yashica Smith. I’m here today to speak to you about thoughts and the choices we make that shape the lives that we live. Its 2010 and I’m still trying to understand why people are still complaining about circumstances that they know the answers to. Why do you not understand that the reason you stay in this cycle of unhappiness and false hope is because you haven't taking into consideration that you’re shaping your life due to your thoughts. We've all heard it before "The life you live is the life you create" So what’s the misunderstanding? The problem is two things one) we're expecting GOD to do all the work. Second, you need to learn how to respond to your circumstances the way Jesus would. When I say respond that way Jesus would, what I mean by that is like the women in the bible who wanted to touch his garment to be blessed and in order to be blessed she had to come to Him. You have to know that when you bring it to GOD he began a process where he's preparing you for the change, however you can't change it if you’re not doing your part with GOD. For example; you can pray for a husband or wife and expect him or her to knock on your door. You have to position yourself so that he can find you. That would be your response to that situation. I say all of this to say, people need to stop being selfish in your relationship with GOD and help him by changing the way we think which will lead us to making better choices. If your choice didn’t fall through the way your expected its because GOD did his part and you didn’t respond the way you should have. Again I’m, Yashica and have a blessed day. God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Tuesday January 26, 2010. I have one thing to say to you. Stop forgetting about Jesus? Every time I think about this it pisses me off. I had a conversation with a co-worker and they said that they believe in God and thats it. They had the mindset that as long as you treat people right you are fine. If thats not bad enough, you also have people day in and day out thinking, and believing, that what ever they achieve is by their own will or strength. Some believe that as long as you are a nice person and do right by others that you will still have pass to heaven. We have the media daily stripping the fabric of faith by systematically dividing the body of Christ, i.e. the new movie "Legion". Taking Jesus out of this and that. They constantly send out subliminal and blatant messaging that brain washes people into almost a false spirituality. They do this by just omitting one name. The greatest name that has ever been uttered is trying to be erased from our consciousness. Stop and think about this. Now keep it real now. When we pray do we pray to God or do we pray to Jesus? Maybe that’s why all of those prayers come back as returned mail. The only way to the Father is through the son, Jesus. Give Him HIS props and leave Him in His rightful place in your prayers and in your heart. Without Jesus, everybody would be going to HELL period. None of us would be headed pass the mountain tops toward Glory. Anything you ask for he will give to you. He will take it unto the Father on your behalf to get things done. He is the ONLY Way. THE WAY. So Stop playing Him short. Give Jesus His praise and worship. Remember what HE has done for, will do for you, and who He is. Please read John 14:6 NIV

God Morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Monday January 25, 2010. Opportunity normally only comes around once and when it does we must be ready to answer the call. Jesus came to Simon and Andrew as they were working and He simply presented them with an opportunity. They were faced with 2 choices, either follow Him or continue doing their work. Often times we worry about the what might happens if we take HIS opportunity, but neglect the thought of what might not happen if we don’t choose His opportunity. Also we don’t take in account of how our lives may be transformed forever just because we took the opportunity that Jesus handed to us. Simon and Andrew CHOSE to took hold of that opportunity without question and now their names have been wrote into history forever right along side the greatest Human being that ever walked the planet. In addition to that they acquired unthinkable measures of knowledge that they would not have acquired other wise by choosing the latter. Not to mention that same opportunity afforded thousands of individuals to find out about Christ and His Father. In the end that one step of faith changed them from casting a net made from ropes to collect fish to casting a net made from the word of God catching men. Please read Mark 1:17 KJV

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this TJIF! Thank Jesus Its Friday! Well folks we have finally come to the end of the series Adam, Eve, & Relationship. I hope you have got as much out of this series as I have. My last message on the topic of relationship is straightforward. In order to sustain the bond between you and your mate is plain and simple; its love. Not the love of your self, or the love of money, but that same love of God. If you have God you have love. If you have love you have an eternal sustained relationship. My father always says to me that you can do more with love than you can with strife. I know some people are so used to having turmoil and being in toxic relationships that they honestly think the other person doesn’t love them if they don’t argue and do things that might hurt them. All I can say is that if they loved you they wouldn't want nor try to hurt you in any way form or fashion. And if they don’t know God they can’t love you. It’s impossible. All you need to do is either one leave that unhealthy relationship and meet someone who can love you the way you deserve. Or just love that special someone like God loves you. Then hopefully they will open up and except God's love through the love you bestowed unto them. I love you guys... until the next time. Please read I John 4:8 KJV

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Thursday January 21, 2010. We are almost at the end of our discussion of Adam, Eve, and Relationship. Outside of not having God in our love lives, the number one contributor of failed relationships is the lack of communication. Let me ask question. How well do we actually listen to our loved ones? Or better yet, How do we respond when they a speaking to us. Do we just drown them out, give an auto response, or say what they want to hear just to shut them up? If so, that’s horrible communication! Or on the side how do we know if what we are saying is being communicated properly? Well, that can be measured by the observing of the tentative ear toward God. If you or the other person doesn’t even listen to God when He’s talking, then what makes you think that they’re going to listen to you? Most bad communication is one way and that’s inward. The individual usually already has a preconceived answer in their head already before they ask you the question. Then from there the flesh takes over and angry accusations fly. Friends we need to communicate outwardly. We need to be quick to listen vs. jumping quickly to assumptions. We need to be slow to speak vs. being slow to forgive. And finally we need to be slow to anger because the angry man/woman’s eyes have a cloudy judgment, but the person that is slow to anger has a clear line of vision that will prevail toward righteousness. Proper communication will lead us inevitably unto a proper relationship. Please read James 1:19-20 communication

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Hi everyone I am back once more and I am here to speak a little bit about third party relationships. Now I am not talking about a guy having two girlfriends or two wives, nor am I talking about a girl having two boyfriends or two husbands. Lets understand that we all strive to have functioning, meaningful, and loving relationships and please believe that the impact that God has in your relationship is more important than anything, thus making it a third party relationship.
Now I want to talk about taking offense with someone with the ones we love. In a relationship we don’t always say the right thing and we may unintentionally hurt the other person. No one is perfect and we are not going to get it right all of the time. However, we need to understand the difference of when we walk the love walk with God in our relationships. If your significant other or even a loved one says something that hurts your feelings, God will want you to respond to it in love. For example if you are in a relationship with someone and they have done you wrong, and your feelings are initially hurt, don’t take offense! When I say this I don’t mean that you shouldn’t be upset or hurt; this means that how you respond and handle the situation is going to make all of the difference in the world.
If you take personal offence over the situation, that means that it has control over you. But wait! There is a better way! If you respond and handle the situation differently, you have just controlled it, with love. It will take forgiveness, , it will take patience, and it will take humility. You see, all of these things are love. Now lets go ahead and connect the dots. When we make mistakes it hurts God. However, He does not take offense. If He was offended every time that we hurt him, he would seek revenge and none of us would be here. However, He responds to and handles our mistakes with love. When we mess up He is still patient, forgiving and merciful. Now if He can do that with you, that is His way of showing how to forgive others with love. It must come full circle, folks, so that the next time you get hurt or mad, don’t act on it. Emotions are temporary. Overcome and conquer with love. Why? Because you cant fail because love never fails and it will even grow stronger. Until next time, God loves you and so do I! Be blessed! Please read I Corinthians 13:1-8

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this Tuesday January 19, 2010. We are in the final week of the Series Adam, Eve & Relationships. And today’s message on relationship is entitled Ménage Trios. LOOK at yall…yall nasty. I’m not talking about “THAT” ménage trios, but the relationship between Jesus, you and your mate. There is a specific order of every relationship that dictates the dynamic of the relationship. If this order is not present it is almost impossible for the relationship to be healthy, let a lone last. The pecking order is pretty simple. Starting from the bottom we have the woman. Reason being is that it is stated that she is submissive to her husband, giving way for him to lead her and their family. Then next is of course man. The man is the head of that household, taking care of his wife and all of her needs. Then the head of man is Christ Jesus. Only through Jesus all things must go through. He is the only one to give us grace, mercy and petition our case to the Only Judge, the Great I AM, the Father. Man must receive all instructions from God to make sure the household that he is in charge of is happy and not in disarray. Finally at the top of the totem pole is Abba the Father, the Most High, The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, the Alpha and OMEGA. As long as all these pieces are into play, in that order, the relationship can only thrive and bare rightous fruit. The top of the totem will never get out of order, so we need to make sure that we stay in our designated space and not try to overstep our boundaries in either direction. God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell on this January 18, 2010. Today we start the final week on Adam, Eve, and Relationships. This week we our topic is relationship. And we will be starting of with a great scripture from Genesis 2:24 KJV that states that:

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Now out of that 1 little simple passage, 3 huge points were made and these points will help you to sustain your relationships. The first thing that I noticed is that it said he left his father and mother. So that means after you leave your parent’s home that you now have your own. You are building a new home with your wife and that both parties should keep their parents out of their relationship. I mean either parties parents should not be making any decisions about YOUR household. Those decisions are to be made by the head of the house with the input of his wife. Because if that mother or father is making decisions in your household the are basically still residing in the household and ultimately you did not leave. There can only be 1 head of the house hold not 2 or 3. of course after God. Your household has only become an extension of theirs.

The Second thing I noticed is that it said cleave unto your wife. I looked up what exactly did cleave mean. It states that cleave is to :

cling faithfully to somebody or something, to cling closely, steadfastly, or faithfully to somebody or something.

That says it all. Cling; hold onto faithfully to your wife. Steadfastly weather the storms of the relationship and not just jump ship from the first sign of trouble. So when you say for richer or poorer or through sickness and health, make sure you truly mean it. If that person is bad with finances and you truly loose everything, remember that you made a promise before God to stay with that person. Don’t use divorce as a cop out.

And the final thing I noticed is that it said they shall be one flesh. That means that that relationship is to operate as a team; one unit. WE have to remember that the every team has strengths and weaknesses. By accepting that person into your life you accepted their good qualities along with their flaws. Now the trick to that cohesiveness and know how to have those parts work together is how the team will succeed and the relationship sustained. Please read Genesis 2:24 KJV

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II. We are still at it with our Series of Adam, Eve, & Relationships. We are about to rap up this segment on Eve or the woman’s contribution and role in the earth. There are numerous reasons why relationships do not work. One of the main reasons is probably the hardest thing for a woman to do, in my opinion, and that is to submit unto her man. The rationale behind that is probably the reason from my message the other day of the independent or virtuous woman. Now before you all start hooping and hollering, I can hear you all know saying, “How can I summit to all or any of these sorry men out here!” Yeah, you think I didn't know what you all be saying, but let me lay this on you…who chose to let that “sorry” man into there life? Who lowered their standard so low that they can not summit or even respect their man. There are a lot of women that just tear down a man to the point of no return. Then you have some that don’t know how to let a man be a man. There are certain things even though you know how to do, you have to let the man do it his way. Don’t strip him of his manhood. For if a man doesn’t have that he has nothing. Play your role. Just because you summit onto him does not make you week nor does it make you anyone’s door matt. You are still that virtuous woman that is that prized treasure that should be priceless in his possession. Know your worth. You are a priceless gem that his chosen to sparkle in his life. Don’t ever loose sight of that. Know your worth. The word submit/ submission is defined as 1. propose or hand in something: transitive verb to hand something in or put something forward for consideration, approval, or judgment• Applications must be submitted in triplicate 2. Yield: intransitive verb to accept somebody else's authority or will, especially reluctantly or under pressure 3. Agree: intransitive verb to agree to undergo something • had to submit to intensive questioning 4. Defer: intransitive verb to defer to another's knowledge, judgment, or experience 5. Argue point: transitive verb to state or argue that something is the case. Notice that nowhere in the definition did it state weakness of any kind. It said that it would be a point of argument. That means in every relationship there will be disagreements, even with God and us, but we must submit and trust the final decision that is made, is the best one for the relationship, family, and for most God. Hello again everyone, I’m here again with Spanduvilous Dailies and we are going to talk a little bit about preparation for the mating game. Now, one of my favorite songs is ‘Rapture of Love’ by Anita Baker. The lyrics are so powerful and I would often wonder how a love could ever be so strong to make someone feel the way in which she sang of. I honestly desired to want to be in love so that I too could be ‘raptured by love’. Now, I want to have a heart to heart and just ask you all if you have prayed for God to send you your covenant mate. The definition of covenant means “the conditional promises made to humanity by God as revealed in scripture.” The definition of mate means “husband or wife; spouse.” Now ladies I am speaking to you all about this because we often have a whole list of what we want from a man, and how we want to be oh so in love with him. If we pray for a mate, we must ask for things beyond the superficial, but most importantly of all, we need to pray for him like we already know him. How is this possible? Well, it can be simple. Just like you would pray for you family and friends, pray for him too. Ask God to protect him, strengthen him, bless him, and most importantly to prepare him for you. And give thanks to God for doing so. This is so much easier to do that us looking on our own and trying to make things happen before its time. You see, if we aren’t loving ourselves the way we ought, the we cant expect someone else to give it to us. Real love recognizes real love.
In the mating game it is about positioning yourself to receive what you need. No, I don’t mean that you should look for a guy at the club or even church for that matter, and wait for him to come up to you and instantly fall in love. I mean that as women especially, we need to be vessels of God’s love that shines through in our regular daily routines. You see, you never know who is watching you or listening to you. We must be mindful every day of our thoughts, words and actions. A man will not be inclined to want to get to know you if you are cursing at someone on the phone, or have a horrible attitude and demeanor. But remember that you must be on your guard as well and don’t be open to just anyone. God keeps it simple and orderly. When He is ready for you mate to show up He will show up without you having to look and you will know it. So, understand that if we start loving by the spirit of God in our daily lives, our light will shine through and illuminate the world around us. Hi everyone, I want to say that I am delighted to be back on Spanduvilous Dailies! We are going to be doing something new and that is speaking on relationships and obtaining real love from its original source which is the living God. Many of you may be at the point in your lives where you are seeking to settle down with someone special one day and spend the rest of your lives with them. However, if we desire to do it God’s way, we must put Him first. I don’t mean that we just say a little prayer for God to send someone our way; We must desire something more meaningful and fruitful than that. So with that being said, ladies I dare you to do something different and that is to be in the in the perfect relationship that is not of this world. If you pray for this, Christ will gladly accept your request to a relationship. Now ladies, the quicker that we understand that perfection is not in a man but is in Christ, we will be able to love in a completely different way. We should desire to fall in love with God before we fall in love with anyone on earth. Now lets face it; everyone wants to be nurtured, protected, provided for, accepted and still loved in spite of their shortcomings. WE can have all of these things and more if we choose to enter into a true intimate relationship with God.
The best part about being in a functioning relationship with Jesus Christ first is that He will show us how to love our significant other with His love, which is unconditional. So, with that, I dare you; I dare you to change some things around. If you truly desire in your heart to have a relationship that is built on true love, let God’s love be the foundation for it, but you MUST lay the foundation first which is a relationship with Him. A friend of mine in college wrote a beautiful poem and in the end she said to ask God to help her fly, and He told her that she must ask for wings first. Understand that the stronger the foundation with God is, the sturdier the house of true love will be. So, I strongly encourage everyone to have a meaningful, fruitful and loving relationship with the love of God shining through it all. And trust me He will give you the desire of your heart. God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this Tuesday January 12, 2010. Today we are continuing our series on Adam, Eve, and relationships. Today and the rest of the week I will be talking about what is a good woman and how to be a first-class woman for your man. I hear the phrase every now and again about a Virtuous woman, but I always wondered what is a virtuous woman? So I looked it up and low and behold it gives a list of descriptions of what a virtuous woman is. SO now I have something to measure against. This woman had her own business, philanthropist, cooked, took care of the kids, and she spoke as wise as any man. This virtuous woman sounds like what we call an independent woman of today. Now my next statement you may not hear often or from any man for that matter, but we were wrong to think that being a INDEPENDENT WOMAN is a bad. But biblically it is a good thing; she is worth way more than rubies. Yes the independent woman is the Virtuous woman. And here is the kicker the man is supposed to praise her. For if he haves her he has a precious thing. He needs to appreciate her and show his gratitude to the awesome woman that God saw fit to give him. But after saying all of that there is one difference between the two. The independent woman lacks one trait. She is not submissive to her man/husband. Because she believes she has it all in place and under control that she must also control the relationship. But the icing on the cake for the virtuous woman is that She is still submissive to her husband, even though her Swag is on High. That right there is the only difference. So after saying all that, ask yourselves men “Do I have a virtuous woman or an Independent women?” And ladies ask yourselves “Am I a virtuous woman or an Independent one?” Please read Proverbs 31:10-31 KJV

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this cold Monday January 11, 2010. We are in second phase of our Adam, Eve, & Relationships series as we start on Eve the women. I believe it’s appropriate that we begin at her creation, because it explains the basis of woman psyche. If you notice that woman was the only creation ever created that came from another “living” thing. Everything else was spoken forth and with Adam, God created him from the earth and dirt/clay. But woman came from the rib of a man. She came from the “FLESH”. The flesh being compromised with its own identity, feelings, understanding, and consciousness this leaves woman with the sensory of over developed feelings and consciousness. With that being said, the one from whence she came in addition to her own feelings and understanding, hence this is why a lot women say that they are smarter than a man. Man in this instance naturally thinks things through logically…because of how we were created. Man is from the logical systematic laws of the land, While women constantly react and function off of their feeling and not necessarily off of logic. If you take into account how women's feelings with the lack of logic at times along with logic of man and at times his lack of emotions. When those opposites are put together as one then that body is complete have logic and feelings cooperating as one in the body of Christ. Please read Genesis 2:21-23 KJV

God Morning! TJIF! Thank Jesus It’s Friday! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell on Friday January 8, 2010. Well we are on Part 5 of Adam, Eve, & Relationships and we are finishing up on the men. Well let’s jump right into it. We all remember the famous description of how God’s heart is, with the comparison of King David being a man after his own heart. So much so that Jesus Christ is even from his bloodline. But why is he such a remarkable standard of a man outside the fact that Jesus came from his lineage. David was the Greatest King in the bible, passionate, a musician, writer, composer, poet, honest, and fearless. On the other hand he was also and adulterer, murderer, and at times vane. So how is this the Standard of a man? The main thing I believe why God chose David and said that he was a man after his own heart is that even though David was all of these things good and bad, he always repented for his wrong doing with a complete conviction and never did that sin again. He was honest with God at all time. Even when he was happy, sad, and angry. This flawed man always tried to keep God first and therefore God blessed him and gave Him his favor for keeping that divine order. As men we have all of the same heart that David, which God said was after his, but all we need to do is realize it. We need to draw on those qualities and please the Lord by putting Him in His rightful position and as a result we will be MEN after Gods own heart as well. Now if we are after God’s own heart, what do you think will happen to our relationships with our girlfriends, fiancés, and wives? What do you think would happen to our current circumstances? And more importantly what will happen to the body of Christ? An unthinkable change would sweep the nation, if we will be what and whom we are called to be. God has already showed us he can do and documented it in this same passage time and time again by delivering David out of the clutches of circumstance. Please read I Samuel 13:13-14

God Moring! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this THursday January 7, 2010. We are now on our fourth installment of Adam/man in our Adam, Eve, & Relationship series. Most of us guys like to believe that we are manly men, moncho guys incapable of showing any real emotion or feelings. A lot guys do actually love you ladies when they say “I love you”. But you may be thinking we don’t ever “show it”. Go figure. So this one is for those guys who are having a problem displaying their love and affection to their lady. Fellahs first thing you have to do is actually listen to her. I know she may ramble on and on about absolutely nothing, but you can find some hidden jewels in all of that dribble. You just got to sift through it and find what you’re looking for. Let me tell what this will do. One she will feel appreciated that you are taking an interest in her instead of her always having to do or talk about what you want to talk about. Secondly this shows her that you actually care, because you are PAYING attention. This is one thing I am learning myself, and I have confirmed it with several close female friends of mine, that every thing a woman says to you is calculated and on purpose. In order to keep her around you have to pick up on all the subtle hints. She will give you all the necessary details into obtaining her heart. To us a lot of those hints are a little TOO subtle and can be easily looked over or misunderstood as a common thing that people do instead of an important window inside her character, so ladies you must be a little more direct. But I digress, back to the fellahs. And as you are doing those things I am sure her love will grow for you and now the love you already had for her is now being presented in a way that is priceless unto her. Now your actions are lining up with your original feelings, SO continue to love her, cherish her, and nourish her as you do for yourself. Hopefully this will take you to a point were you will begin to love to love her and cherish every moment with her with a weight in your heart. Please read Ephesians 5:28-30

There are a lot of single individuals out there looking for love and some in the wrong places. Some have there roles of pursuit mixed up and some are to afraid of rejection to get in the game. Speaking of games… why do we “play” this so-called game. Who started it. WHo made the rules. OF what importance is it. What type of man/woman of substance do we think you can "catch" playing these childish games? Is it just to see to what lengths he or she will go for us? Are you a real man or woman who is competent and secure enough not to indulge the other party's immaturity and move on to the next individual? But this game still exists. What ever happened to courting, dating, staying on the phone for hours talking about absolutely nothing and then you didn’t want to want to be the first to hang up? What happened to those honest times? Do they still exist? Do women even appreciate a man who wants to court them FIRST before jumping in the bed. Or is it that women have evolved to the point that they picked up one of men’s bad habits and they just want that magic stick. Then pushing him out the door before he can even throw away the condom good. How have we come so far as to devalue ourselves as men and women, as a people, and as a generation? Men, the bible says when we findeth a wife we findeth a good thing and on top of that we obtain the Lords favor. So why are we sitting here running through all of these low self esteemed women who needs and wants a good man. Then we break them down even more by destroying and lowering their esteem further only to have a ”mistake” leaving them to raise your future king. What is that? Please brothers, when you find that woman that’s wifey material, cause we know in an instance what type of woman she is, don’t cast her aside just for another piece of potato salad. Keep her, wife her, love her, marry her and then let God’s favor rein over you. Please read Proverbs 18:22 KJV

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II. We are of part 2 of Adam, Eve, and Relationships. And this week we are talking about Adam or man. Fellahs I have to say, many of us are lost right now. We don’t know how we got where we are and defiantly don’t know how to get out of it. Well I don’t have a good enough answer to those questions, but I can share this with you this. Stand up and know your role, play your position. Over the course of time the identity of the black man has been systematically chipped away. By doing this we have become lost. THis has left the black man confused and striped from his true identity. The process for which this was done took us out of our natural ROLE in nature and put us in the brink of extinction. The result of this is our women standing in filling the gap and embodying the authoritative, independent role of head of household. this was by design. We have always had strong women all over the country raising boys into an IMAGE of a man. I say IMAGE only because a man can raise a boy into a man. By removing you, the men that come after you shall be a shell of ideals of a man with feminine qualities unless a male role model is present. If the father was there he will teach his son his role and not the image of the role. That is why so many of you have doubts or questions of morality, responsibility, and even sexuality. Generations are now being raised by a nation of women while this country is still being ran by selfish, power hungry men that architected the black mans demise. Don’t or should I say quit handing your power over to your capable women. By relinquishing your power it is destroying, you, the king. And even if we did do such a thing...that does not give us the excuse to lie down and play the surrogate role. NO more men. Know your roles and Be that role. Be that father, that husband, that loving boyfriend, that selfless son. Be who you are called to be. Be that black man. And if you’re not black be that strong man you are intended to be as well. God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II. Well folks I’m back and on fire with the from GOd and the things I have to share with you. I missed all of you, but luckily God gave me permission to come back, so lets get it. The we are about to embark on is titled ADAM, EVE, & Relationships. Over the next several weeks we are going to be discussing how to be a righteous man, a virtuous women, and how to have/ maintain a happy, long lasting relationships as it pertains to the bible. I am a gentleman and normally I would let ladies go first, but I have to follow the natural order of things. So lets talk about man and who he is. He is a logical being molded from the ground by God’s pottery hands. Then God breathed life into man’s nostril, giving him a soul. God HIMSELF inflated our lungs with the spirit that man defines it as the Holy Spirit or letting the flesh toxify the spirit making it a Demonic Spirit. Every man has the choice to stand up for what’s right in the eyes of God or to defile His word with disobedience and self-righteousness. Which leads me to my next point to stand up and know your authority. In the beginning God created man in his image to have dominion over the fowl of the air, cattle and beasts of the earth and everything else in it. He gave us authority over all the earth and that has not changed till this day. Somewhere down the line we have forgotten our power of authority. Men, lets quit sitting in the background complaining and waiting, but lets take back our power. Lets take back our mindset, our households, our communities, and our churches. Realize who you are and whose you are. You are a man. You are a man of God. You were designed for greatness. For you have the breath of God circulating in your lungs right now. So speak love and truth forth and recognize your authority. Please read Genesis 1:26, Genesis 2:7 KJV

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Tuesday October 6, 2009. After doing yesterdays message, something popped in my spirit that kind of piggy backed the theme from yesterday. I would like to talk about addiction. I am sure I don’t need to give you a public service announcement about drugs and alcohol, but I’m sure we all know first hand what the effects of these vices can do if unchecked. We've all heard of drunk drivers killing innocent motorists and crack heads robbing folks for 20 dollars for a hit of that pipe. If a person is addicted to something, they don’t care who they hurt, even if its themselves, all they want is that fix. These individuals can be very dangerous and unpredictable if a serious addiction is involved. And don’t think it stops at drugs and alcohol. Nope. A person can easily be addicted to sex, money, power and we all know people have been killed over all three of those throughout history. And it is just as bad as the later, because they will stop at nothing to satisfy their fleshly needs. When I tell you first hand about the troubles of addiction, I mean right in my living room. Years ago my stepfather murdered my brother in cold blood in front of our entire family. He was a functioning alcoholic. The next day he had no recollection of what transpired the night before. So now today I stand without a brother, lost to the rash, harsh spirit of gluttony and addiction. You never know what someone will do in his or her inebriated state. So please if you think you may have a problem, or you have noticed a friend or love one has a problem, please don’t be afraid to ask for help. God forbid it may be your brother, sister, mother, father or even child on the other end of an addicts circumstance. Please read Joel 3:3NIV

Drunk as Ever

God morning everyone! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Monday October 5, 2009. Well I ran into a few of you this weekend at homecoming and…I made sure there was a cup, bottle, or can in my hand at all times filled with certain types liquid serums; if you catch my drift. Now I told yall I was gonna talk about this. and you know I'm a man of my word. Although I was intoxicated for most of this weekend I was not drunk. Being intoxicated and drunk are totally two different things. Someone who is drunk doesn’t not have sober judgment to listen to there inner moral compass that will stop them from doing or sayings things that they might regret later; even though it does show there true character. Being drunk also distorts your sense. It puts you off balance having stumble all over the place, unable to walk the righteous path. It blurs your vision having you loosing track of physical and spiritual surroundings. In addition to that, it has you vomiting up the nutrients that you put in your temple to sustain it. And in the end, if the world is not spinning when you close your eyes to lie down and sleep, the next morning you are hung over with your head throbbing from the vandalism of your temple and sometimes confused due to loss of memory of black out. Being drunk has a whole lot that goes with it. Now being sober is being in control, ready, awoke, and aware of all things going on physically and spiritual. Its ok to do things in moderation, but remember do not be a glutton to alcohol, drugs or anything. It will only lead you down the path of destruction. Know your limits. Don’t’ have people come back up to you the next day saying “ You were Drunk as ever!!” Please read I Thessalonians 5:6-7 KJV

what is Success?!

God morning! Its TJIF! Thank Jesus it’s Friday on this October 2, 2009. Over the last few weeks this particular question continues to arise, so I thought I’d take a stab at it. The question is what is success? Well I believe there are 2 types of success. One is that of society and the other is personal success. Of course society dictates the American dream of the house with a piket fence, nice car, wife/ husband, and 2.5 children along with a nice little nest egg in savings. To some that may also be there personal definition of success as well, but I beg to differ. I believe success on the personal level is more accurate. It should be broken down to individual goals outlined in life. And if one endures the strife of life and temptation to achieves those goals; then to me they are successful right? They have achieved what they wanted out of life, what God wanted for their lives and He is happy; then the promises of peace and prosperity rest upon him. So what do you think success is? Doesn't Last Forever

Good Morning everybody I hope all is well with you! Lets talk about endurance in running our race of life. Now this year I joined a fitness bootcamp to get healthy and in better shape. I had no idea what I was in for, but my first week of working out, I thought I was going to die! My body was sore, and the workouts were very rigorous. I honestly was asking myself what I had signed up for? But the challenge was not just physical but mental as well. I faced challenges and wondered as to whether I could really do what I set out to do; it seemed that it was not getting any easier and sometimes I wanted to quit all together. But I will say that there is something to be said about enduring through challenges, because just like working your physical body for strength, we have to understand that our spirit and mind must endure challenges to build strength too. The end result will show that it was the challenge and adversity that made us strong. Before you know, it you have worked through and overcome the soreness and pain and realize that it really didn’t last. And we are stronger for the hard work that we put forth. Just don’t quit! When we face difficulty, we may feel that it will never end! In our minds, dealing with adversity and struggle can feel like a lifetime. The awesome part about it is that the hardships do not last forever! Through the trials, we have the opportunity to become stronger, tougher and wiser. We have the victory when we come out on top. Let us remember that the reward in the end will show that the struggle was small compared to glory that we receive on the other end, and in that we give the glory and praise to the Lord for seeing us through! Good morning every one! Want to touch on something that we all think about everyday and that is being rich! In today’s culture there is so much emphasis that is placed upon obtaining material possessions. While it is fine to set goals and work hard for the things you want, we must understand that materials do not fill internal voids. Money is a blessing and it can be a curse too. What are your intentions with becoming wealthy? Are you striving for particular material things to prove something to someone else or to bless some one else? At times we can easily get caught up in the glamour and excitement of having so much, but watch out because we can look up and realize that our designer bag is holding more valuables than our heart is. On your list of things that you want to obtain in your life, a relationship with God Must be at the top before anything else. He is a free gift! When you put Him first everything else is secondary. When He blesses you, give Him the glory for what you have and take credit for nothing. Remember that He can take it away too. Just know that Nothing is better than the Lord’s love and an ever-growing relationship with Him. In this life Possessions come and go, but God is the constant anchor that we must place above and all that the world will ever have to offer because His love and existence in our life is priceless and that is where the true riches are! Love Conquers All

Good morning everyone, I want to talk to you about love. Now, not about the warm feeling that you get when you fall in love, with someone all though it is a beautiful thing. Im talking about loving unconditionally.It can wonderful and challenging to love; no matter if it is family, friends or your mate, we all need love. This is no exception even when we make mistakes as well. We cannot love when it is convenient for us, we must learn to love in spite of the wrong doings of others. Now as a woman, I know that we can love very hard. But when someone lets you down it can be the worst feeling in the world. In any kind of relationship whether if it is with a mate or even a parent, we must never stop loving. My biggest lesson of love actually came through issues that I had with my father. For a long time I was very cold and towards men and even resentful. I didn’t realize that these feelings were stemming from issues that I hadn’t resolved with my dad. How could I attempt to love another man when I had unresolved issues with the first man that I trusted? The Lord will not let us go to one relationship if another one needs healing and resolution. If certain issues are not addressed then you will find yourself in an ugly cycle. I finally learned that you must forgive by love and nothing else will work. Don’t stop loving. It is liberation to your heart, mind and spirit and holds strong through everything that you apply it to, but you must always apply it. It is hard, and can even hurt, but remember that when we let God down He continues to love us through it all. If He gives that love to us, we must give it to others. The power of it transcends any mistakes and can heal any hurt. Learn to let love rule! Please read Proverbs 10:12, and continue to be blessed!

Just Stand

Good Morning everybody! I would like to thank you for having me. I will be sharing scripture and personal testimonies with you all to let you know awesome God has been in my life! This morning Im going to talk about the book of Job, and how he suffered loss, and how he pretty much questioned why God allowed certain things to happen.The story of Job is one of loss, disparity, and triumph. Have you ever been in a situation where you seemed to be doing everything right, and everything went wrong? Have you ever lost it all and questioned as t why God allowed it to happen? Everyone has faced serious circumstances and challenges that have made us question where we went wrong. We must understand that when we go through difficulty it is an opportunity for God to show us who He really is. It creates the ultimate way for us to strengthen our faith and trust in Him. Now I personally have been through several circumstances where I have lost pretty much everything, on a constant basis. I had thoughts of running away, and giving up on it all, just to find a way out. The lowest point for my family was when there were times when we did not know where we were going to sleep or how we were going to eat. I always asked why; why me, why don’t I have it easy, why must I suffer while everyone else has it so much better? The circumstances were so rough that I as a young girl I felt bad because I could not make the situation better. But through it all, the Lord was right there. I knew that because He still provided in spite of the situation. It wasn’t ideal to me in my carnal mind or even perfect, but He always knows what we need and He never misses a beat. Going through these trials built so much strength within me that I never would have had otherwise. My mother always said to make every bad situation work to your good. This is essential to growing closer to God, because it all comes down to trust. Even when you cannot trust yourself, trust Him, I promise He does not fail. God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Thursday September 17, 2009. DO you have the Great Testimony in your heart? If you do not then you are making God out to be a liar and we both know that’s unacceptable. Or do you even know what the Great Testimony is? The Great Testimony is that God has given us eternal life, and this life is through His Son Jesus. Now that you know what it is; do you have the Great Testimony in your heart? This testimony alone stretches the minds thought of reality and pushes it into a new realm of thought. This is what His Son, Jesus, have given us; the possibility of infinite life within Him. I know at times you feel alone, down, left out and forgot about, but remember the Great Testimony. Your life is precious. It’s so precious that Jesus died on the cross in order to give you life. Don’t squander it away due to temporary circumstances. Cast out those thoughts of suicide, murder and abandonment. They are not from God! Stop and look around you with an unbiased eye and I’m pretty sure you will find the one that loves you standing right there. But if you don’t, I love you and I’m right here with you in Jesus and the Great Testimony. Please read I John 5:11 NIV. Well to continue from yesterday, all different kinds of thoughts ran through my head and feelings all types of feelings overflowing in my depressive state. I had thoughts of suicide as an escape, running away, thoughts of giving up completely, and thoughts of God being a liar. This was a very dark point in my life. Well now in Birmingham, you can imagine how things are going at first. We were like oil and water. I was sleeping on the floor in for a couple of months, still grieving, dissecting, and trying to understand what was going on. He said it builds character, I said that’s BS. I called myself trying my best to stay out of his way. Rarely spoke; I was respectful though, basically just stayed in that room. Then over time we began to speak more and more. I began to notice that most of my preconceived notions were wrong, and so did he. We slowly began to bond and start something that both of us wanted, but never had. We learned a lot during the time I was there. But the one it really started to hit when he told me “You didn’t only needed me to come bail you out, I needed you, too.” That put things in perspective for me. I was so caught up in my downward spiral of self-destruction that I didn’t notice what he needed.

Anyone who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this hump day Wednesday September 16, 2009. Today the testimonies given and received should have one common thread and that thread should be Jesus. It should be how he worked on your behalf or brought you out of your situation. It should be the only reason that the impossible became possible in your life. Because if it wasn't Him, then who did it? Who did it on their own? No one. If anyone says that they did on their own, you may need to check yourself or the other persons credentials. All testimonies should align up with the word or God and should not stray in the least bit. Since someone else’s testimony can be the doorway out of our test, we need to make sure that we’re going through the right door and not the doorway to our demise. Now you may be asking “How will I know that their testimony is concrete and true?” Well you have to confirm it in your spirit. Not with your worldly ears and eyes. Because there are SO MANY charismatic speakers out there that can talk the shirt off your back and have you to believe they did by them selves. Please read Isaiah 8:20 NIV. Well as I was a complete wreck, two things happened. I noticed a change and a choice. I saw a change in my mother. It completely caught me off guard when we began to talk during this time. I used to call here seldom, (sorry) or when I needed something. We always used to bump heads and argue always leaving feeling some type of way. Anywho one night we were talking and she spoke to me in a way she never did before. It blew me away. Ever since then our relationship has never been the same. Now we come to the choice. I was left with a decision, either be homeless or go and live with my father in Birmingham for the first time in my life. I didn’t meet my father until I was fourteen and really didn’t have a solid ground in building a relationship with him. So during this time we had a huge falling out. It got to the point in my mind that I was never going to speak to him again, because he was never in my life anyway… so what was the difference. Well in spite of all that He offered to come and get me, due to the fact I was getting evicted/ got evicted. I seriously was about to choose homelessness. That’s how much I hated him. If it wasn’t for my mom telling me to, I probably would have chose the later. Well it’s evident that I chose to go stay with him and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Tuesday September 15, 2009. Yesterday we started in a weeklong discussion on testimony. But what is testimony? Testimony is a statement made by a witness to prove that something is true. Now you have some that will rise up and say certain things in order to get a rise out of you or just to get some praise/attention or start some mess with you and the surrounding people, but you need not worry about them. Just rebuke them in the name of Jesus and keep it moving. Those individuals are glory hogs, dishonest, lazy, and gluttonous people that only care about themselves. Please leave them to their own devices. Do not get entangled in the web they weave. They are mere talkers and cannot cast any harm on you nor your households; for you are covered by the Blood of Jesus. So leaving off from yesterday, after I left my job, and no other job I might add, that day changed to rest of my life forever. It seemed as though the minute I stood up and was obedient to God, the whole world came in like a flood. Sitting there with no job, a good friend of mine at the time attempted suicide. Had to deal with that. Then the same person got evicted… so I opened up my home to them. Then a few weeks later my grandmother died. That was the stray that broke the camels back. I was so hurt and upset, not at what He did, but how he did it, so after that I turned my back on God. I told Him that He can keep all of this stuff that He wanted me to do. Why did I have to be going through all of this? Why did I have to carry these burdens? But I should have been asking “Why not me?” Let me tell you I saw God move in a way I never seen before. I mean I saw Him more clearly when I gave up on Him than when I called my self with Him. Of course that started to drive me even crazier, so after about 3 days I came on back and apologized, repented, and went on. I guess you can say I was in the wilderness for a while no job barely making the last of my money strech, supporting two people. It was tuff. Falling out with my father. It was ruff. For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group. They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach- and that for the sake of dishonest gain. Even one of their own prophets has said, “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith.

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Monday September 14, 2009. Recently I have been looking over my life as of the past few years and noticed how much my circumstances have aligned with others, yet no one is forthright in sharing there Testimony due to embarrassment, guilt, or for the sake of there image. Little do they know that it is easier to share their burdens vs. carrying it by themselves. If you take a close look around you and your current circumstances, there a probably several people going through the same thing you are and no one has even opened there mouth for help due to fear and rejection. I charge you friends to share your testimony of what you came through with others. Being fearless of ridicule and judgment. Because that same testimony is our enrichment, it is added on to us, helping us grow into better persons in Christ. It also confirms to the world who and what Jesus is and can do. But who will ever know if you keep everything bottled up as your little secret of victory. You know that secret victory over lust, alcohol, drugs, sexual deviances and other binding and embarrassing acts of the past. But guess what, you will only be embarrassed if someone else uncovered your secret instead of you coming forward putting it on the table. Well HERE is a peace of my testimonies. Many of you probably know that I moved from Atlanta to Birmingham a few years back all of a sudden and wondered why. Well truth is that God told me to leave my job at Bank of America and he told me a certain way to do it. Of course the first thing I said was, "WHAT!! Are you sure... I can't just do that what about rent, food, car, and everything else?" Of course freaked out and did the exact opposite of what he told me. I decided to take 2 weeks vacation to ride it out, you know to see it God will change His mind. Then all of a sudden things in there would literally drive me insane. I thought I was loosing my mind. I was one step from going postal seriously. SO at the end of my work day, 3 weeks later I might add, I walked in to my bosses office and told her I quit. And the only explanation I could give her was God told me so. I know I looked crazy, but that’s what happened. Then 2 weeks later there was an attempted robbery and the same branch I used to work at and shots were fired inside of the bank. And to add more fuel to the fire, it was during the lunch rotation, so I probably would have been out on the floor and not in my office. Which means I could be dead right now if I didn't head God's crazy word. That’s my little secret, what's yours? Please read I Corinthians 1:4-6 NIV

I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way- in all your speaking and in all your knowledge- because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.

Balancing Act

God morning everyone! TJIF!! Thank Jesus its Friday!! Well we come to the close another week on this September 11, 2009. I have a question for you, when was the last time you truly loved someone or something? I’m talking a bout that unconditional, insane, I’m intoxicated love. When was the last time you went out with that special someone a enjoyed their company, just sitting back, loving every minute of it. I mean when its so deep that you LOVE TO LOVE someone. Well God wants to be on the receiving end of those feelings. When you truly give your ALL to a physical person, then surely you can it to the UNSEEN person, whom is always there. He wants ALL or your attention and All for your Mind and ALL soul. Not some, or not when you fell like it, but ALL the time. Second, how do you treat yourself? Are you one of those people who treats yourself great and adorn yourself with the finest, but treat others as they treat you…with the bare minimal? Or are you the type to treat everyone great and since your so much a giver; treating yourself comes way down on the list of things to do. I can’t say either way is right or wrong, I’ll just comment that if you fall on either side of this coin, there is room for improvement. It’s simple; treat others like you would treat yourself. Since you are full of love and love yourself, loving everyone else like you love yourself should not be a problem. And if you love to give and don’t get around to loving yourself, what good does that do to anyone. Which in turn will leaves the question how can you love someone or give love if the vessel giving it doesn’t take the time out to love themselves. So create that balance act of Loving Vertically and Horizontally. Vertically with the Lord and Horizontally with your peers. Please read Matthew 22:36-40 KJV

Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Hold on a minute Jesus!

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Thursday September 10, 2009. Why do we put Jesus Second?! We said we will follow Him , but we always seem to manage to have a dyer catastrophic, world ending, and convenient excuse of why we have to tell Him to hold on. We have to do this or have to do that, giving closure to things that ... well quite frankly doesn't deserve that much attention compared to God. If we don’t quickly get this in check, we may no longer have the rights to the Kingdom. We MUST stop looking back at what coulda, woulda, shoulda been, for the things of the past cannot be changed. We must continue on forward, letting those circumstance be tended by God, not by putting Jesus on hold to tend to it ourselves. Yes things will arise and yes some situations will need to be dealt with, but when Jesus says come now, are you going to tell Him hold on a minute? Which is more important, the closure of that situation, or the beginning of a new life, purpose , and peace of mind that things will be handled for you by Him who leads you? It is up to you. Standing in the Flood

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this hump day Wednesday September 9, 2009. As we start to down the path of righteousness, finally rising to the next level, people that used to be friends will turn on us, family members that used to help will shut their doors, and significant others will begin to loath us. What is happening? You think that everybody whould be happy that we chose God. Why does it seem like the closer and closer we get to God the more people we piss off? Is it us or is it them? Our routines haven’t changed, our attitudes are still positive, so what’s going on? The problem is that we have not changed outwardly, but inwardly. We know most people don’t like change. The problem is that once we truly stand for God we are immediately pitted against those who aren’t. That change to choose God makes life very uncomfortable. Now all of a sudden, they think that we think that we’re better than them, or they try to discourage us by constantly reminding us of whom we used to be. We stand there alone against the sinful world, outside of the matrix, truly seeing it for what it is, its actual face; flaws and all. We are despised for revealing its defects while being different, defiant, and courageous enough to go against the flood. We have to realize before we snap on someone,previously to choosing God, we were going right along with the flow of the world and fitted in perfectly. But when we Truly stood up for Him we began to go up stream against the current; bumping heads with everyone. Because our immediate surronding are still heading in the same direction as we are standing still, turning around, and beginning to head in the opposite direction. And of course now we stand out and people hate those who are fearless enough to try God. They hate what they can’t be; or rather they hate what they chose not to be by believing the lie that they couldn’t be. It will be hard in the trenches standing against the barrage of negative people, nay sayers, and nonsense. But just hold on till the end. Soon enough the currents of the flood will eventually flow in your direction as you start to replace friends, tolerate family, and restore relationships. Please read Matthew 10:22 KJV

God Morning! Welcome to today’s installment of the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Tuesday September 8, 2009. God gave me a great one today for you. What are you going through right now? Are you in the process of loosing your house, your job, your family to divorce, or even worse loosing loved ones to death itself? Do you feel like all the odds are stacked against you and that it may even be designed that you can’t see God? Is your health fading and people wonder how you can still praise God? Well, here is a little insight why that is. YOU were CHOSEN to suffer and endure by God personally. He himself chose you just like He offerd up Job. God is already well pleased with you and chose you to endure these hardships while never cursing His name. He knows you have the strength to go on. Furthermore you should also be comforted to here from this particular story that there are guidelines that the Devil has to work within in order to deceive you into hating God. He has to have permission and parameters. So understand this, If God has chosen you to bare these situations and circumstances, then He must feel you are capable of enduring such things. And if you are capable of doing such things, then while we are going through it we have no reason to fear, cry, or worry about the outcome. The Devil may have had permission to take our possessions, but he has no authority of taking our lives. Only you can give that to Him. Please read Job 1:6-12 KJV

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this September 7, 2009. Dreaming. Most of us would think that all dreams come to us at night, when we are tucked in all nice and cozy or snuggled up with our boo. But that’s not quite the case. We also dream while we are awake…kind of like a daydream. That’s the Vision. The vision and the dream slips us into the Spiritual realm where all things are possible and are the things that are slated to come, because we both know everything happens in the Spiritual realm first. Now the difficult part is bringing those dreams and visions from that spiritual state into reality. You may have been working on something for years and its still hasn’t come to pass. But the only way you will ever know if it will com true is if you continue on that path of purpose. That vision or dream should be your driving force to continue on. After God, it should be your catalyst to never give up, and never give in; while catapulting you into a better way. Your dreams also can be warning signs about people, places, things or even situations that are about to happen and God saw fit to give you a heads up in order for you to prepare yourself. SO don’t take your dreams so lightly, nor for granted. If He showed it to you it was for a reason. It could be something is going to happen if you make the wrong decision or it could be what going to happen period. Be careful. So the next question is what are your dreams and visions telling you? Disappearing Act

God morning! TJIF! Thank Jesus It’s Friday! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II on this Friday September 4, 2009. Well we’ve come to the end of another week folks and let me ask you this,, Don’t you hate it when someone tells you that they will do something and in the end they don’t come through. I mean, they get your hopes all up and at the last minute they pull out having you scrambling to get what ever done. Or doesn’t it burn your buns when someone starts something off all enthused and toward the end they just dwindle off into the sunset leaving you to finish the 2 man job by yourself. They pull that ol disappearing act. It would have been better for them not to have even showed up rather than to start and leave while there is so much work to be done. Well as much as you hate it imagine how God feels. First off people constantly say they going to start off on there purpose, but too many times are stopped at the door of Worldly Convenience. Or they will start the work in their purpose and then slowly but surely stop and pull the disappearing act. He hates that. Today tell yourself or another person to do what there are supposed to do. Get started on Gods work. God hates to be let down. It’s frustrating. And then on top of all of that, we even have the nerve to go and ask Him to bless us with the reward when we didn’t even do the work. The audacity of us! If you have started something for Him, finish it. Some things He asks us may take some time, so pace yourself and be patient. Run the good race and fight the good fight, cause in the end the reward for your endurance is priceless. And once you get to that point I bet you won’t pull the disappear act. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Its a Joint Venture

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this Thursday September 3, 2009. I just wanted to remind you today, do not claim those bad habits of old. You are no longer bond to those things. You are free from your addictions. You are free from the attitudes. You are free from former mindset of lack. Don’t pick back up what you have throne away to make yourself a better person. You have received deliverance from that vice and are now taking on new attributes. People may try to remind you of the way you used to be or the things you used to do, but don’t let that be your catalyst for backsliding. Remember you are not in this thing alone. This is a Jesus and us joint venture. He is there walking us through the transition one day at a time. So even though it seem like your suffering now, keep in mind that your not doing it by yourself. He is suffering right along with you, when things change, and you come out on top you will be glorified with Him. That temporary discomfort is in no comparison to the glory and praise of accomplishment later with Him. We suffer with Him and He glorifies with us. WOW! We suffer with Him and He glorifies with us. Let me say that again. what a good partnership. Please read Romans 8:15-18KJV

For Ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Who is leading you

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me, David Mitchell II, on this hump day Wednesday September 2, 2009. Yesterday we spoke about the “voice of reason” from Romans 8:1-3 and now I would like to share with you the other half of that message, "Who is leading you?" Well, who is leading you? Who wakes you up every morning? Who orders your every step? Who puts you in every test so that you can have a testimony? And who fuels the thoughts that roam through your head? These questions are ones that we should have a very clear answer. The answer is either going to be the flesh or the Spirit. Who's leading you? Are you in a committed relationship and you just can’t seem to stop cheating on your mate, even though you say you didn’t mean to. That’s the flesh. Or are people constantly making sexual advances toward you and you politely turn them down because you are in a committed relationship or waiting for marriage. Well thats just one example of many to determine who is leading you. Friends we have to learn the laws of righteousness. The carnal mind will only fuel the desires of the flesh to feed upon, but the spiritual mind will suppress those desires and warn us of unwarranted problems ahead. Notice I did not say that if we have a spiritual mind that we wouldn’t have those same carnal thoughts. Remember the mind is the Devil’s playground, but its up to us if we’re going to let him play in the playground. Even though we have those thoughts doesn’t mean that we have to entertain the thoughts. You understand, we don’t have to invite those thoughts in and offer them a drink. The spiritual minded person will immediately cast them out and push pass the seductive temptation. So, I ask you again, “Who is leading you?” Please read Romans 8:4-14 KJV

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. SO then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Voice of Reason

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II on this Tuesday September 1, 2009. I originally had this particular passage blocked out only for one day, but after looking over it again I seen that it was full of the goodness that it should be split up into too parts. Let me ask you this question , during your walk in Christ have you noticed that you have two sets of instincts? If you haven't, you do. I know that may sound kind of crazy, but its true. One is the flesh and the other is the Spirit. They are both yelling at you constantly, swaying you in either direction, navigating our lives down their inevitable path. Now to put it into a better perspective think of it as one saying “go ahead and do it" while the other is normally telling you “stop that's wrong”. And our free Will is left there to decide which one to listen to. Can you tell them apart? One of the differentiating characteristics is that the flesh is the one that never shuts up. It will continue until it convinces you that it is the right thing to do. the Spirit will continue to speak, but its voice will begin to get drowned out by all the noise of the flesh. On the other hand, the Spirit will convict you before you even make a decision and you will feel guilty and you have not done anything yet. So you can determine what kind of person you are by the voice you listen to. If you listen to the voice of the flesh that gives that immediate gratification overlooking the consequences of your actions, which will lead you to death. Or you could choose to hearken to voice of reason, which gives you a delayed reward with life and peace in the end. So which one do you listen to? Let me give you a hint. Jesus condemned sin to the flesh, so any decision made out of the flesh will ALWAYS be the wrong decision. But, hey you have free will, you choose. Please read Romans 8:1-3 KJV

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free for the law of sin and death. God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with my, David Mitchell, on this August 31, 2009. As we go through our day to day lives do we honestly give credit to where credit is due? Or do we merely take more credit than deserved. On that group project at work, did you over exaggerate your contributions? Did all of your employees do all of the grunt work and you swooped in reaped all the praise? Did you even help out in any fashion before stamping your name on that assignment? Well although you got to do what you got to do in order to get where you want to be; we sometimes forget how we got to were we are in the first place. So if you do that with your peers, I'm sure you do it with God. So many times we step on the little guys in order to get ahead in life and to top that off, we convieniatley forget what God has done, the opportunities He's given us, and we say made it on our own. We both know that can’t be more further from the truth. He has lead us up till this point and if He chooses, it can be taken away in an instance. He alone decides to whom He gives his prosperity to and when He gives it. So when we get to out of line He will surely remind us of this, but don’t fret. We don’t have to fall from grace, all we need to do is continue to be kind and acknowledge who runs the show. It was not you who had that brilliant idea for a business. It was not you who birthed that creative venture. You were not the brainchild that pushed that company to the forefront. You were only the vessel that the idea came through. Just like I'm not the one writing these messages. God is the author. God is the originator,so give Him His props, because He is tired of all the GLORY ROBBERS! Please read Daniel 4:25-26 NIV

You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes. The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules. Therefore, O king, be pleased to accept my advice: renounce your sins by doing what is right and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed, it may be that then your prosperity will continue.

Our Inheritance: Which box is your faith in part 4

God Morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell on this Thursday August 27, 2009. Now all week we have been talking about inheritance and to several different capacities. We spoke from process, commitment, and purpose up until yesterday. Those things will help you get to your inheritance and maintain it. But what is your inheritance? What would you want your inheritance to be? Is it money, cars, houses, or relationships? All of these things are material and shall not last. Our inheritance is everlasting from before us to eternity. Our Inheritance is Jesus. Think about this for a second. You have two boxes. In the first box we have all our worldly desires like money, cars, houses, even multiple lovers, and in the other box you have Jesus only. The first box comes with all of your pleasures in life and the second box comes with daily suffering and persecution. Now be honest… which box will would you place your faith in. Box one or the second box. The obvious choice is the first box right? Only a fool would willingly suffer day in and day out…right? Well if you decided to place your faith in the first box you are going to have a grand ol’ time. You will have all of your things to keep you occupied. But what will you do when the money runs out. when the money runs out, the repo man will come from around the corner for your cars. And of course you were only able to push back 2 months of mortgage payments and now your house is being foreclosed on. And finally the multiple lovers of yours are all gone because you couldn’t maintain that lifestyle. Sounds great, huh good choice. Now lets say you put your faith in the second box. You see all of people that put there faith in the first box flourish as you endure all of that pain and anger while you are in the process. Your love grows for God and out of nowhere people just start coming into your life helping you out and giving you exactly what you need at that exact time for free, cause we know you could afford it. Now your back on your feet working in your purpose hand in hand with Jesus. Your finances have stabilized and even begun to increase due to the fact that God has made provision for you way back during the Suffering stage. Now that you are reaping you are able to afford the car you wanted way back when. And of course God worked out a tremendous deal on your dream home that of course seems too good to be true. He always likes to surprise you, right. Of course you can’t forgetting those who helped you along the way so now your relationships are long lasting sustained. Well I think I want to put my faith in the second box. I’ll like to get my lil but of suffering out of the way so I can lead the latter part of my life In my inheritance. The Inheritance are not the “THINGS” that God has promised. The inheritance is Jesus. Due to our obedience He will gladly reward us with those things, as long as they don’t take His place in our hearts. Please read Ezekiel 44:28

Our Inheritance: Purpose part 3

God morning! Welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell on this hump day, Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Here, were we are continuing our series on inheritance. Everything and everyone has a purpose. Thou it be sometimes it's purpose is to work your nerves or annoy the heck out of you, it's still serving its purpose. When things happen in our lives, instead of getting angry and asking God “Why me!” all the time, try figuring out it's purpose. God lent Jesus to us, for a purpose. He came to down knowing all the mysteries of heaven and earth at the exact time it was need. All of that knowledge was gathered together in 1 fragile earthen vessel. Now look at that same vessel. Look at what that 1 person has done. It has been multiplied to Millions across the globe, because 1 person truly carried out there purpose to the fullest. By Him doing this we can reap our inheritance. Knowing everything that was predestined already, He still chose to do this thing for the people He loved, who barely knowledge or believe that he ever existed. But that was His purpose. He made sure that our inheritance was left up for us to receive. Are we going to continue to sit on our heals or are we going to rise up and claim our inheritance? Now if we are going to claim it… how are going to do it. I'll tell you how, By doing what we were designed and predestined to do. and that is to operate in our purpose. First find it. Then start it. Then finish it. It does not matter how old or young you are, start on it now. You never know, you may be starting as 1 but maybe 50 years from now it will multiply and thousand may be living in what God personally made for you to do. Live on purpose, live in purpose, and live for a purpose, because all that you will ever want in life is on the other side of your purpose. Guaranteed! Please read Ephesians 1:9-11

our Inheritance: Commitment part 2

God Morning! Today is Tuesday August 25, 2009 and welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with David Mitchell II. Today I’m going to start off with just one word. Commitment. Lets ask ourselves how do we feel about commitment? What is the level of commitment in our relationships, friendships, or on our jobs? We drive ourselves sick trying to make failed relationship work. We try our hardest to salvage and hold on to those poisoness BFF's of ours. And we bend ourselves over backwards day in and day out over that Ol’ Might dollar! We are a committed people right? But what about when It comes to God? Do we fight tooth and nail to keep Him in our presence? When things don’t go they we think they should, do we stop from turning our backs on God? Or when the money is rolling in do we even give Him his cut first? NO. We don’t. It sounds like He’s more committed to us than we are to Him. In spite of all this, He still keeps His grace and mercy over us, even though we treat Him like an insignificant buffoon. If we commit to Him, He will further extend Himself to us. If we fully commit to Him, His inheritance will slowly dwindle down our way. Once we get to that point we will be apart of an elite group of individuals that are privileged to be at His right hand side. Our Inheritance is our desires. Our desires hopefully are by now His desires. So now, His love will renew or bring forth a better relationship. His forgiveness will maintain that friendship. Finally His status ,His purpose, His promise, and His blessings will undoubtedly give us the increase we have been praying for. Please read Acts 20:32 NIV

Remember to commit yourself that you will commit to God. Commit to your goals, dreams and vision.

“Now I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”

Our Inheritance: part 1

God Morning! Today is Monday August 24, 2009 and welcome to the Spanduvilous Dailies with me David Mitchell II. This week we will be discussing inheritance and what God has to say about it. Below is the text and of course you can watch the Vlog above. So sit back, relax and hopefully you will enjoy God's word.

We pray, ask, and even beg God for things that we want, need, and desire. At times we speak to Him as though He’s a Cosmic Bellhop who answers our every whim. What are we doing living with the mindset of immediate gratification in a microwave society. We are always wanting things right now , when we want it and how we want it, and even expect God to bend His will and promise to our mediocre taste of how we think His blessings shall flow down to us. Friends It does not work like that. Please be patient when waiting on God’s promises. The process that He has is set in place for a reason and that reason is for it to last and not dwindle away. For If you skip the process you won’t be able to maintain nor appreciate the blessing. Please read Proverbs 20:21KJV

An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.
